Had a 2 sleeper cabin on the lake with amazing views. So peaceful and relaxing. Friendly staff. Great hikes available in the nearby Garden Castle Reserve.

What a wonderful getaway spot. Of All my Berg stays, (All for a higher price than this) this was my most pleasant. The kids absolutely loved it. My husband and I were welcomed wonderfully. The location and views are spot on. We had the biggest cabin of them all, I am so impressed with how clean the bath and toilets were. Which is very important. Hot water even at 1pm on a winters morning. Log cabins, but quite cosy at night. Felt so safe despite being situated across the resort. We really had a wonderful stay. Breakfast got delivered to us in the morning and despite not placing our order the night before they catered for us abundantly. Beautiful place, my only regret is not booking a longer stay, but will definitely be back again. Thank you.

Eland Valley Resort is such a gem of a place.The staff are incredibly friendly. Sayed goes out for all his guests absolutely amazing gentleman. Our stay has been nothing but excellent, cozy cabins, family activities. A home away from home filled with tranquility. Will definitely be back! Thank you Sayed and Team.

Eland Valley Resort was absolutely amazing! My family and I spent a week at this fantastic resort nestled in the beautiful Drakensburg mountains. All the staff are very friendly and the manager is a outstanding host. We thoroughly enjoyed hiking, paddling, fishing, playing ping pong and making friends with all the lovely animals on the property. I would highly recommend this resort for any couple or family looking for a great stay in the Drakensburg.

Our stay was a weekend away from home to escape the city madness we face everyday. Upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted by Mo and Sayed, and was thereafter given our cabin keys. Mo offered for us to sit by the fireplace to warm up (despite our arrival being after 9pm). Sayed then guided us to our cabin, and also offered to assist in unpacking our car. He explained about all the activities the resort has to offer. After unpacking the car, Sayed took my wife and I out on a guided tour to the recreation area where we captured the most beautiful pictures of the night sky (the best picture perfect sight my eyes have ever seen!!). Sayed then guided us safely back to our cabin as we decided to get some rest after a long drive. Mo and Sayed always kept in contact with us to make ensure that our stay was as pleasant as could be. We will surely be using Eland Valley Resort as our preferred destination of choice in the future and will recommend the resort to anyone and everyone looking for a weekend stay at the Berg.

We had an awesome 4 nights stay. The cabin had a lovely views over the dam and the surrounding mountains. The cabin was serviced daily which was great. Loads to do, canoeing, swimming, hiking, bird watching We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again. The Eland's rest convenience store is just down the road should you run out or need extra supplies. We had breakfast there and got takeaways for lunch.

Amazing location and amazing staff! From the manager to the cleaners. We stayed for 7 days and we were treated like familyand it’s very homey. It was very quiet and relaxing. There are a lot of free things to do including canoeing. They also clean the rooms every day and that is amazing especially for the price.
