Southgate Post Office

If you want to experience the Rudest, Laziest and Most unhelpful interaction you will ever possibly experience in your entire life then please go here. The short manager is rude constantly, I have witnessed how the elderly get treated here as well. So many had to take a seat as the waiting times are astronomically long. Also if you really need to go here, and suffer, make sure to be there way before it hits 2:30 pm as these staff switch off their internet and claim that the system is offline so they don't have to service the shop full of people waiting there for almost two hours to renew one license disc.

Went there on Wednesday to get a few documents certified. When I arrive there I get told that the stamp is damaged. This is the second week I get told about a damaged stamp. Very poor service from the Post office and the staff is very arrogant. Don't bother going there for anything.

I called on monday and they said, they eere currently offline, i could leave mu tracking number somebody would get back to me. By Thursday nobody had, i called again and they said my parcel was reafy for collection, i went on friday and they asked me to come back on saturday as they could not find it. What a waste of my time.q

Generally helpfull but often half the posts are not occupied when it gets busy.Normal post office lethargy but the staff are quite on the ball and friendly when you do get served

The worst office that I've been too. Staff are unfriendly. They don't greet you and they ignore you when you ask them a question. Very bad service!

Its a pity i still have to rate 1 star when they deserve none , the lady was in a phone for a good 15 minutes while we waited to renew our disc's, thereafter went on a wbatsapp video call for another 10 minutes, after the calls she said shes not gonna help anyone as she's going on lunch and that was 3:25pm, upon asking her else is there to assist us she said no one , she's the only one who renews and she stood up and left , she's was very rude and didn't even care, I Really don't know why don't they hire people who want to serve the community because these old people they have clearly overstayed their passion for what they do there, post office should do mystery shopping on their staff so they can start clearing people who don't wanna be there and probably hire youth or people who will value their jobs

The worst Post Office branch in South Africa by far!Rudest staff that don't care about the public. They don't want to help you if you confused and don't understand how things work!Man this branch is the pits. The bottom. The sediment that sticks to the bottom of the barrel.Would never recommend this place to anyone and they should close the branch since employees don't know how to treat the public with respect!

The teller with dreadlocks is very rude, doesn't care whether you are old or young. I only experience bad service there all the time.

I went to post office today and one of your tellers was shouting this other old woman. The old woman was so humble and she looked embarrassed. The Teller told her not to ever step her foot at that post office because yena she's tired of her. It was so sad experiencing that and not being able to help the old lady. She should have been calm and explained which papers she wants. Your employees are rude. At least if they were rude towards us the youth not elders. She's bringing bad luck to her life. Also, the stamp was not working. I couldn't certify. Bad service.

The worst service ever, the ladies who work there are so rude. Don't waste your time going there, just find another post office.THE ABOSULTE WORST POST OFFICE IN THE SOUTH OF JOHANNESBURG. PERIOD!!!
