A damn fine cup of coffee and friendly warm vibes. Excellent vegetarian and vegan options. Attention to detail v good. The vegan toastie is a must. Now I understand why people lose their sh#t over good sourdough. Also very good value for money. Keep it up guys. Shout out to Leslie

Our favorite Bakery on our doorstepGlad this bakery is expanding.The freshly made artisan breads & the delicious cakes and pastries have you wanting to come every morning to purchase all the baked goods for home.The juices are fresh and delish, served in glass bottles ( my fav) as we like to recycle ♻️ butters, chillies sauces and others available.Well done Glenwood Bakery on opening up your 2nd branch.

I used to love Glenwood bagels. The build your own bagel was my favourite. They have since stopped allowing customers to choose their own toppings which is a pity as I would gladly pay more to choose what I want and don't want on my bagel.I visited last week and chose a salmon bagel which came with mustard relish, cream cheese and gherkins. I asked to exchange the mustard relish for another similar relish, the waiter said that will be R10 extra to which I declined because the bagel was already R73. What came was a very sad looking bagel with no cream cheese a sliver of salmon and loaded with gherkins.no greens. I was disappointed because I remember how good their bagels used to be. I wrote a polite note voicing my disappointment to the owner and left it with the waiter as I prefer to address concerns with the owner directly. The owner shockingly whatsapped me the next morning telling me in a very condescending tone that if I didn't like the food I shouldn't ever come to her shop again.Wow. Is this how we treat paying customers? All that was needed was a little im sorry, please accept my apology for your bad experience. I won't be visiting here again. I have read through other reviews and have noticed that the owner adopts a passive aggressive tone when you express your disappointment which is exactly what happened here as well .

Such a wonderful bakery. Evertyhing has always been fresh and tasty! So affordable- R10 for a plain bagel and R25 for filled ones. I love this spot so much! Lovely staff and good covid protocols in place!

Glenwood Greatness!Hands down the best milkshakes in town, to eat we had the smoked chicken, reuben, and roasted lamb sandwiches, it was hard to decide which one was the best as all 3 blew the lights out.High quality ingredients, great food, and extremely friendly service.Glenwood Bakery is a must for anyone visiting Durban looking for a hearty lunch at a reasonable price.

The butter is amazing, it pairs well with all the bread. The pie was mince with potato, although I was told it was beef chunks. Still it was really good and filling, good quality. The cheese croissant is a must and the danish was a wonderful treat, the filling is divine.I go there for the homemade hummus and the pesto as well. I refuse to eat hummus from anywhere else.
