The most fabulous restaurant experience I have ever had. As hosts Ghenwa and her husband are outstanding - personal attention, wonderful traditional Lebanese cuisine and attention to detail is something special. Each dish explained as well as the origin and background - first class. They are very particular with wine suggestions and have a remarkable range for all palates.I will definitely revisit this exclusive establishment just for the experience. I highly recommend it. 5 Star. Their hospitality can only be explained as memorable and awesome. Two very special people.

Authentic Lebanese food cooked and presented with such passion and love and energy. Everything was absolutely delicious. Will always try make a point of going there when I’m in the Western Cape. You feel like you’re dining at home with friends and family surrounding you. We even had belly dancing lessons.

GHENWAThis is Fine Dining with Lebanese cuisine. A memorable spread that you won’t easily forget. Prepared by the irrepressible and genial Chenwa, a Friday lunch turned into a feast. The meal consisted of a variety of small plates each crafted and prepared with consummate skill. It was a lavish spread encompassing a variety of Lebanese specialities that were absolutely delicious. The meal was accompanied by wine from the Lourensford estate. Add to the experience the charm, warmth and welcome from Ghenwa and her husband and you have the perfect, long, congenial afternoon lunch.

We had a culinary adventure with delicious authentic Lebanese cuisine. We sampled some new tastes as a peacock sat outside the window. There was more than enough food and we brought leftovers home. Ghenwa was a wonderful host and a wealth of information. She is clearly passionate about food and we highly recommend the experience.

The only Lebanese food outside of Lebanon. If you want the food your grandparents made back home. This is the place. And Ghenwa is the most incredible hostess who is just full of passion and love for her craft. And she is a master. The best kibbe in this hemisphere!

We had the most special and spectacular culinary experience at Ghenwa's Culinary Club. It comes highly recommended! What an absolute dinner TREAT! I'm a big big lamb shank fan and I'm really excited to be able to say that it's the best one I have had here, to date!You can feel the absolute love and passion from the owners with their hands on approach and their cheerful chats. I would love to come back with a bigger group to do the interactive class next time. Big thumbs up

What an incredible experience! From the moment we walked through the door, we were made to feel like part of the family. Ghenwa and Geza are wonderful hosts and their love for food and wine is reflected in every bite and sip of wine.Ghenwa's passion for food and sharing it with others shone through and I have never tasted such fresh and authentic Lebanese dishes before. We enjoyed incredible tastes of Lebanon - from the best Baba Ghanoush I have ever tasted, to delicious Warak Einab (dolmades) with vine leaves from Ghenwa's own garden, right through to Ghenwa's own pickled vegetables and the most delectable Kibbeh Akras.Geza is an incredible ambassador for South African wine and loves to help select the best wines for Ghenwa's delectable dishes. He selected some incredible South African Grenache Noir, and unusual Sauvignon Blancs with us which paired perfectly with the food. It was fascinating to hear about the wines, and learn more about the terroir and winemakers who made them.All in all, an immensely enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend a visit to Ghenwa's Culinary Club. But don't expect to be able to just walk in" as they fill up very quickly - so make sure you book in advance."
