Autoboys Glass Durban

Friday, 28th April 2023, Santam authorised Autoboys Glass Durban to replace the rear windscreen of my vehicle. I was contacted by Autoboys on Friday and arrangements were made for the installation to be carried out on Saturday morning. No time was specified. On Saturday at 10:20am, I contacted Autoboys and waited 10 minutes for the head office contact centre to answer, I was then transferred to the Durban Branch and my call was disconnected after 6 minutes. The lady that assisted me that morning, advised that the windscreen will be fitted today but they do not have the windscreen".Customer Care contacted me and advised that the windscreen will be fitted on Tuesday. Tuesday morning

Took our vehicle in for an inspection for insurance purposes. The service received was great. The company is efficient and well located.

I launched a claim for my windscreen to be changed and they couldn't process the claim. They told me I must call their head office of which I did, neither their head office couldn't help. Went to PG glass and I was helped the same day

We drove to Auto boys after getting lost, they need to update the address on Google because its wrong. The receptionist was rude. She didn't even acknowledge that we was there, she continued on her phone call which seemed very important. She basically disregarded the fact that we was standing in front of her looking at her while she continued her call. My husband had to go to the door, knock on it to get her attention because, she didn't even pick her head up or greet. She then told him that only 1 tablet was available for the insurance inspection and we had to wait. She there after continued with her call. I will never go back again. Rather do the inspection myself on my car.

Efficient, friendly and accommodating service from reception (Fadhana, I think?) who expedited an on-site repair at my house. I called them in the morning at 8am to confirm, and the team was over at 1pm as promised. My driver side window was repaired in no time and the remaining glass shards were vacuumed from my car, which I did not expect. Great service.

They replaced my windscreen a year ago. My review mirror fell off at the beginging of September 2022. I called them and the guy takes my number for a call back. 23 days later no reply. No follow up. I've tried calling again.
