Family Vet Fourways

We arrived the morning of 29 Dec 2022 for our 10:30 appointment. We were met with a moody and arrogant Dr Sasha Henriksen.When asking a question regarding our kitten's breed it was met with an eyeroll and answer.This was our first time at the Family Vet Fourways, but there was no explanation of what the procedure is or what their policies are. She took the carrier and we followed to go with her (like we've always done at any vet), but was stopped.When speaking to Sister Michelle she said the kitten was stressed and said it was better she was taken in without the owners and additionally implied she was stressed coming from home which was insulting.When confronting Sasha afterwards, explaining our experience, she was very defensive, had even more of an attitude and refused to apologize. She finished by saying if we don't like it

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a big variety of products and animals

I highly recommend the Vets as well as the pet store. I have a Yorky which has detachment issues. He needed his cleaned they sedated him in my arms so that he did not get stressed. Brilliant. All staff are friendly and very helpful.

Appreciate you taking the time to respond , We have been utilizing your services when you never required an appt.So when we arrived with one of your existing dogs you treated plus a new puppy ,it was a surprise to learn we had to make an appt.I Think the the unceremonious fashion we were informed that we NOW need to make appointments was actually more the issueMany thanks

The best at affordable costs. Staff and vets are always friendly and caring. The vet space is clean, spacious, stylish and doesn't give one the feeling of being in a clinic.

I had my kitten Neutralized, the procedure went well. Dr Monique and team are extremely caring. I would recommend them .Thank you all.

Family Vet Fourways is conveniently situated in the Fourways Crossing Shopping Centre, around the corner from The Fourways Mall. There is ample parking and therefore easy access to the shop. Staff are friendly and helpful. The shop is like a warehouse size with everything under one roof. You will find thousands of fish of many species in the tanks and aquarium. You can buy almost every pet food possible, with a variety of brands. If you are a pet lover and need something, you will probably find it here. Don't forget: there is also a Vet Pharmacy inside the store.

The friendliest kindest vets I have ever visited. I panicked when I saw a lump on my baby's neck a week after her injections, within 2 minutes the Vet called me back and explained everything to me and offered to check it out... Thank you! amazing to find people so passionate about my baby

The shop itself is a wonderful one-stop pet store. It has everything you need for any pet and much more. It has a vet, a parlour, and a variety of pets to purchase. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The only thing that I have an issue with is when there's loadshedding, they aren't prepared. It was total darkness, when I asked, what about a generator. I was told that someone had gone to buy petrol. Please do visit them, but make sure that its not during loadshedding.

So far great place to get advice and pet supplies. Got a fish tank (upgrading from a bowl) and all staff are so willing to help and advise. Love the attention. Not knowing prices of things , felt item prices were fair so assume it is as the store was busy.
