Wide selection of games and gaming equipment. Well priced but offers to buy preowned games are ridiculous as resale price is quite high. Helpful and friendly staff. Great place. Good service. Plenty of parking. Well placed at the entrance of the mall.

I ordered and paid for a game 3 weeks ago and still haven't received it, I phone every day and leave messages, not once has anyone phoned me back - thank you for ruining Xmas for us

A negative experience caused by one member of staff was rectified by the owner of the group. Swift and courteous response was appreciated. Thanks. edit I arranged to collect a game from the pavilion branch because of the negative experience above. The pavilion shop is just as bad. The owners are let down by poor staff.

Had a problem that in the end got resolved in a way that i had to edit this and give them 5 stars... (to the owner, thanks for what you did and despite what you believe i did not drop it and this i can say with all honesty) i am sorry but you did lose me and a few others as customers over what has happened. You need to trust in what your customers are saying not everyone is lying. But still in the end fully was happy with the result just not happy all of you will not budge on saying i broke the item.

Not impressed by these people - no star from me actually! When I brought in my son's PS4 console I was told the problem was the motherboard (cause being loadshedding etc) and I straightforward asked them if it was something fixable and I was told it was. I left the machine with them, expecting a call of the proper diagnosis from their Jhb people when they had assessed it for me to approve whether I wanted them to continue fixing it or not. To my surprise, I received a call from someone who said the machine has been returned and I was to collect it as it was unfixable and the store manager had written next to my name I was called and told about this! This was the first time I knew of the story...let alone being called by them! So this person then said I should come in the following Friday to collect when her Manager is around (as if that would have changed anything in terms of not communicating and lying in the process). When I finally got to the point of collecting it...I was told usually their Jhb people can fix anything and so my machine was basically useless. All of the time I was asking myself what happened to that it was an easy fix as it was the motherboard and all the yada's I was told! Dealing with these people simply gave me an impression that they either did not take the device to Jhb as they said they would and took my R180 in the process or they are just overrated!

Games sold at game 4U are scratched and don't work. I bought Xbox NBA 2k19 brand new and when I got home it didn't want to install and I then checked the back of the disc and oh my god the scratches on this thing. Very bad I am utterly disappointed because I thought Game 4U was a professional place with high standards but no.

Booked in a ps4 repair on the 17th May. The lady who helped me at the desk to book in the repair was very polite and helpful and this is not the same person I have dealt with over the phoneAs of today (2nd June) I have called 3 times to recieve feedback...The first time 21st May:I asked for feedback as per status of the repair and was told as soon as it is ready I would be informed...I tried to ask if I could follow up with their branch in GP to establish a date in which that batch of repairs would be returned to PMB.The lady spoke to a manager and at that point she informed me that the unit had not been sent off yet...Its important to note at this point that to get a little effort out of your people requires a little bit of a nudge.The second time 29th May:I was informed that the unit was sent off and the process of the repair had begun. Again I was informed that they would call me as soon as it had been returned...The third time 2nd June:I requested feedback as to the status of repair on my unit.The lady asked for when it was booked in and the repair docket number. I replied the 17th May and then she didnt bother with the docket number.I was told I would be informed upon its return.I asked for a number for the branch as per where it was located to do a direct follow-up...The lady spoke to a manager and I was pretty much denied access to this information. Again brushed off with the same reply.I asked if they could perhaps do a follow up for me and I could maybe know what's happening. I said maybe that there could be an issue. Theres a parts shortage etc.No sir we will call youI think staff are perhaps either missing some very very basic customer service training or perhaps they are just lazy? I was polite all along despite the slightly arrogant tone on the other end of the phone but perhaps remember that you do have a product belonging to me in your system and that at any point as a consumer I have the right to know exactly where the item is and what the status of the job at hand is.This review will be updated exactly when some effort is applied by customer service staff and or when the unit is recieved
