What an awesome place with the best personal service from Rene the Chef and Mary Anne our host. First time staying at a place where we get to chat to the owners and what lovely, friendly people they are. Rene told us about Yzerfontein and surrounding area. Nothing in this lovely Inns Restaurant was bought as it is all passed down from family as we where told by Rene. Defnitely recommend this place

Kaijaiki Country Inn Restaurant and Guesthouse
Friendly Dutch host and his wife. We were well taken care of by them. The restaurant is decorated with many items of their history and they are happy to share all the tales with you if you have the time for it. The beds are very comfy with electrical blankets and new pillows. The food is also very good. We had the butter fish, lamb shank, and sole in the group and each one was very happy with their choice.

Best rooms... clean,spacious,welcoming and tidy. Restaurant has an amazing breakfast and the dinner I had was sublime. Best Bitterbollen everything!! The owners, Mary Ann and Rene are simply fantastic.

In retrospect the previous owners should not have accepted our booking as we where there in the transition to the new owners. This is not ideal as the new owners are trying to find their feet and started renovations whilst we were still there. However Rene and Maryanne were absolutely delightful, full of fun and ready to offer us advice on what to see and do. Lovely location and I wish the new owners all the very best with the place. May it bring you as much success as it did for Rene and Maryanne.

Went here looking forward to an authentic Dutch experience and was deeply disappointed.The only thing Dutch about this place is its parsimony.The espresso was barely drinkable and, worst of all, the Berry Pancake" was an overly priced single
