Wonderful for kids. A real farm experience

Went there for the nursery. Lovely and peaceful. The plants are very affordable. Most of them R31.50, big or small! Lol So we call the nursery 31 50 now. Beautiful selection. Including some fresh herbs.Some birds and rabbits to look at in the nursery. Our little one loved that. Not as big or flashy as stodels & sometimes prefer that. The silence and privacy. Friendly staff as well

Fabulous party destination. The children loved the Survivor Games played plus the swim in the lake! Highly recommended

We had an amazing morning at Gan Eden Farm. My kids (16 months & 3 years) had a ball. They were able to get up close to horses, cows, chickens, bunnies, pigs, sheep and more. They tasted fresh cream and milk, learned about the milking and separation process. They checked the coop to retrieve eggs, which they took home. The tractor ride was superb they enjoyed bouncing along pointing at all the animals as we passed the various paddocks.And as if that wasn't enough there is also a play area that kept them very busy in between activities. The staff were wonderful, helpful and approachable. I would recommend a visit ( by appointment) and cannot wait to take my Littles again.

Great venue. Attended a homeschool program. Had fun with my children.

Visited here with a primary school outing. Facilities like animal petting and tractor rides along with a coffee shop for adults while the kids enjoy themselves. Also has a decent plant section with various options for sale.

Beautiful venue, brilliant organisers, friendly staff and very reasonable price. Kids and adults alike enjoyed my daughter's party. Thank you Gumboot Parties :-).

Good selection of plants at reasonable prices, knowledgeable and friendly manageress. Will definitely be a regular patron from now on.

A bit disappointed that when I got there the boom was down and one of the farmworkers approached on a tractor and one of the labourers was 5 m away and yet one of the ladies from the preschool had to cone Nd open it, but nevertheless a nice experience thereafter, with a very nice range of goods at the nursery, as well as the Going Natural stall. Nice destination stop, that would be even better with a nice coffee shop.

There is so much to do on this farm, its packed with activity for a wide range of people. There is the gumboot parties in which the children play survivor like games against each other in teams, tug of war, sack races and many more. There is a dam there in which they zip line into, feed the fish or can swim in. There's a balancing beam across the dam which the contestants must walk across or fall in, children love it.For the smaller children they can feed the ducks/sheep/horses and other farm animals. The farm has a large part dedicated to horses, for which any age can go on horse rides, from basics of horses to obstacle course to long rides. Gan Eden can also house your horses.The staff are friendly and great with children, the owners are almost always around doing farm activities or are involved with the parties.For those who love plants there is a greenhouse with a variety of plants and trees, along with a few birds and bunnies to keep you company.Overall a great place for a family outing, and those who want to get in touch with the more country style of things.
