I called someone at the store and asked if I can drop my hamsters off and the man over the phone said yes. When I went there 2 days later there was an EXTREMELY RUDE Blonde Lady behind the counter. She was sarcastic, rude, cheeky and raised her voice at me and the staff, because one of the hamsters were older. Never support this place if you want decent customer service.

Shocking treatment of animals and birds. Do not support this store. The spca needs to get involved. The manager refuses to sell them to a lady that wants to buy them to save them. The manager even laughed at our complaint. Looking at the ratings the negative comments are accurate, I'm sure any positive reviews are from staff friends and family. This place should not be allowed to sell any animals whatsoever. Shocking. Disgusting. Negligence.

Best pet shop in the area. Everywhere else the customer service is horrible. This place has the best staff and the owner is very nice, helpful and always wanting to provide for his customers. Never had a bad experience and I've been going since it opened.

I counted 12 dead fish all running on the same sump filter, bought a pleco after 2 day it dies. Thank goodness I quarantined it. Due to the fact that the fish are in terrible condition. I'm really unimpressed

Bought a pleco there about 2 weeks ago. Having read the reviews I see I'm not the only one that has purchased a sick fish. I did notice dead fish in the tanks but assumed they were all running on their own filters not a sump. I've subsequently lost over R2000 Rands worth of fish due to buying one of your fish. Rather close the fish section down if you can't take care of them

I don't usually write reviews but considering the condition of the animals I felt it was necessary. Overcrowded enclosures with over 5 chameleons in one small cage. The two African Greys can barely open their wings. The Love Birds and budgies are losing feathers because of stress. I counted over 10 fish with bladder disease. Do not support this store.

I waited in the fish section for over 30 minutes to be helped.. I asked for help at the front and was told someone would attend but I should grab the plants I want in the mean time.I grabbed a clearly marked for sale plant and waited another 10 minutes or so before I was assisted..Only to be told ‘don’t touch that plant!’ ‘That plant is not for sale!’When I asked why, I was rudely told not to ask questions..
