Seems like a very safe and efficient place,just note they only do appointments ,NO WALK INS and only ID or Passport,no temporary ID. If you book it will definitely be easier than other home affairs.

Went to Home Affairs to apply my passport application and it was Efficient, Fast and definitely Effortless!Bare in mind a few tips before going in person:- book your appointment ONLINE, they do not allow walkin's(NB!!!! When booking online, change your dates 3weeks later, if you do it too early or within the week, you won't be able to book a spot, so play around with the dates. Understand that computers aren't as smart as us humans!!!)- payments are ONLY CARD, no cash will be accepted- each person's application must have an appointment, cannot book a whole family under one name, that also means minors need to have their own booking (you will use each person's ID number to book)- photos are done inside, no need to bring your own- your ID is needed of course!If you are going by car, entrance is on the left hand side, the gates in the centre is the EXIT only! However if you are walking, you can go pass the exit the building is on the left as well.Don't be confused!Home affairs for the refugee is on the right hand side of the building with a small gate.Don't be afraid to ask the securities if you are lost!

Went there with trepidation given the less than stellar reputation of dealing with the DHA. I was pleasantly surprised, the entire process was super efficient. I scheduled an appointment for two days after I completed the online application form, the entire process took 45 minutes from when I arrived until I was done, new passport was delivered within 12 days. Super impressed, keep up the excellent work.

I booked at Home Affairs Goodwood for my ID. My ID application took place on the 5th of June and today I still do not have my ID!Next week will be a whole complete month without my ID and Home Affairs Goodwood has completely botched my application.Upon viewing my receipt, the details to my personal info is misspelt. After paying, now my application is not found according to Home Affairs head office.FRAUDULENT AND FAILURE OF A PROCESS!
