Be prepared to wait in line for hour's on end and if there is loadshedding even longer...some staff not all are friendly and helpful but it is always likely to be a whole day affair as like most SOEs.

This place must get new staff, they treat you very bad and you should treat people they way you want to be treated.They sit and eat chicken and chips all they. My second time here and it got worse.If you dare say something good and treat them better than what they treat you, they feel offended and send you on your way without helping you.You should also value your job. It’s not easy out there.Why should you as an individual have to bribe to get them to do there work “chicken & chips”They don’t care about the public.

Standing 3hours to renew your licence is what you going to expect. Horriable.

Absolute nightmare. Got there before they opened and still had to line up outside in the rain. They opened almost 15 minutes late and everything came to a standstill when load shedding started. I was there from 7 to 1 and I still had to leave before paying because I had to go back to work. Now I need to take another day off to just go pay.

The starting process to apply for a renewal of driver's license was ok but the collecting process not so good. They took 45min to serve 10 people and then 45min for the next 10 and so on. Took too long.

If I could rate the disgusting sevice of his office it would be in the minus.. After having queued there numerous times since I have applied for my drivers licence renewal, I still have no joy.From being told my fingerprints did not come out and now I am nowhere to be found on their system!! Do not expect for them to send you an sms as this is a lie! I have had a valid drivers kicence for 42 years and now it's an impossible task to renew! But nobody from the dept reads these reviews so this is a futile excercise! Just another failed and corrupt dept and honest citizens at their mercy! It's like they are doing you a favor and and not heir job.

I did receive my driver's license quickly after I apply for it.

Worst place to be... The only nice person here is the lady conducting the learners tests....They work at their own precious pace, everyone would fail their eye tests (how ironic) then their attitude is just on another level, TERRIBLE, we go there because we have no choice

Useless. Already spent 2 days in queue after queue. When it's finally time to pay, another queue and 4 hours of loadshedding ahead. Standing in the queue, 1 hour before loadshedding starts for 4 hours, one of the tellers goes on 'tea-time' while another walks up and down while the queue just grows. The Arrogance and uselessness of these people are beyond belief!
