Safe place to lauch your boat with assistance from the resort's tractor. Shaded braai, swimming pools and a small shop inside. No fishing allowed.

This resort is under new management as of 2021 - many changes have been made so far. Beautiful place for a family day. Ablution blocks, swimming pool and the shop were renovated recently - very clean and new.Friendly, helpful, and very welcoming staff and amazing manager who is always helpful and kind.Highly recommend to anyone looking to rent a unit for holidays, or for a day visit.

Clean facilities, reasonable day rates for launching boats, tractor assisted slipway weekends and school holidays.Really good bass fishing in and around the grass- and reed-islands, but no fishing from the bank allowed.

Been there with family and friends last weekend. Saturday is best to visit, entrance fees R60 per head. . Inside the resort there is not many things to call it as a resort but we can call it as a nature resort which is ok for that cost . Nice water front , lots of boats, there is a small swimming pool for children, a cafeteria/ tuck shop etc available . If you go as a big group for picnic it place is perfect , if you are looking for a very upmarket resort , you may be disappointed . We will go back again here .

Good resort on the dam for a day visit. Launch facilities are good. Nice grass braai areas along the water edge.

Bonamanzi Resort @ Bronkies, NEVER EVER AGAIN Called them on Monday 2nd of October to get pricing and info as I was going alone with my boat, and i heard they launch you with a tractor, which i thought was awesome. Spoke to a nice gentleman, explaining to him I am coming on Wednesday, alone, maybe with my wife. Price for the day, R280 wifey included. Ok, not to bad. HE SAID tractor start to launch at 7. Got there on Wednesday morning,06:50, very friendly staff at the gate. Paid, ask them about the tractor it will be at the launch shortly sir" was their exact words. Got to the launch
