The Stables Art Studio
I have loved Cathy Milner online classes, covid was my oppertunity to dig deep into her teaching! Her lessons are well structured for beginners and more advanced artists. She introduces each theme or subject very simply initially and builds up the level of technical skills giving her students confidence to a point where they all produce excellent artworks. She encourages the use of many different media in each module. Her technical knowledge and skills are superb.

Cathy's drawing module was challenging - I had to push myself out of my comfort zone. So, it was exactly what I was looking for. I have learned so many new skills and techniques from her. But more than that, it was just such a joyous, accepting space and group of people. We were allowed to grow at our own pace, while celebrating each other's progress. I loved it! Definitely signing up for more art classes with Cathy.

I have done art classes at Stables Art studio for the past 3 years. Cathy Milner the art teacher has during this entire time always given us completely different challenges and art techniques in all aspects of creative art work. It is a joy doing art with Cathy and she certainly pushes one out of your comfort zone.

I love my Tuesday night art classes. Cathy delivers the whole package and offers a variety of techniques and mediums. Although the lessons are structured, you are encouraged to explore your individual style. Cathy’s classes are inclusive and I am always learning something new.

I have truly never come across a teacher as passionate and talented as Cathy. She teaches from within herself and the results are simply astounding. Somehow Cathy manages to tap into something deep inside ourselves that results in, not only amazing artwork, but a sense of authentically inhabiting our space in this world. Cathy has been both my daughters art lessons for many years now and it is definitely the thing that the most look forward to and treasure in their week. There is a mind- body- spirit benefit that goes along with attending Cathy's art classes. Something I would recommend to all my friends, and patients.
