Dr Maarten and his team have taken care of my 3 dogs for a few years now. As animal lovers will know, there is never a dull moment with our pets but he has always solved all problems efficiently and competently. His priority is solely your pet, which I appreciate. 5 stars from me!!!

We had the very unfortunate incident of our small dog veing hit by a car on a Saturday in Franskraal. We phoned Bergview, and the lady was EXTREMELY patient, and gentle with me. She coached me through checking his vitals and reassuring me. The looked after him so well, and did x-rays, intravenous drips, and held him for observation for the day. They were very reasonable in terms of cost but their best attribute is the way they assured us and cared for our fur child.

Dr. Marten was an excellent vet that went above and beyond to save our dog from a sudden heart failure late at night on a saturday under trying circumstances. I'd recommend him to anyone with a pet they love.

We came to Bergview Vets in an emergency as out of town visitors and received the most compassionate, professional, calm and caring assistance from Lucy (an Angel in veterinary nurse uniform) and Dr Lize, as well as the administrative staff. The sad loss of our precious dog Onyx was made easier by the incredible care and most phenomenal intervention offered. Their service was above and beyond and the grief support beautiful. We are so enormously appreciative! If we lived here they would always be our first choice in vet care.

Dr Maarten and team did such a good job with our staffy puppy. We feel a sense of relief and happiness to have found such a great vet. Derryck had a great time getting lots of cuddles and snacks while getting his nails cut and vaccinations. I don't mind the 45 minute drive to have such a great team for out pet. ❤️❤️❤️Thank you
