Very interesting. Not the kind of store that I ever would walk into by myself, but if girlfriend wants to go in, I will tag along. Turns out an old goat like me could actually spend some time in here and indeed enjoy it, and appreciate the magic of the place.

I'm always mesmerized with the magical energy from this store in a historic town and well kept clean building. Always good and friendly service with a wonderful variety of stock, crystals, jewelery, rings, earrings, pendants, clothing, scarves, ornamental, i sence and even some gifting items such as 'men's toys', meditation wands, singing bowls and much more

Magic Minerals is one of my favorite gift shops in Cape Town South Africa. Nestled in the old dutch village of Philadelphia, a mere 20 km from Cape Town, it offers a large selection of crystals, minerals, various semi-precious gems, fossils, arts and crafts kits, hand designed clothing, garden plants, and many unusual gifts from Africa and other parts of the world. A true relaxing experience in a calm and peaceful country environment, with the famous Pepper Tree Art stable café restaurant diagonally opposite.An experience not to be missed.

This is probably one of the best esoteric stores you are going to find in the unbearably puritanical Western Cape. The shop has a gorgeous setting and it is pretty much in the centre of all life in Philadelphia. It is touristy but in a very tasteful manner. The owner is exceptionally helpful and accommodating and even allowed us to browse even though the shop was not technically speaking open. The prices are reasonable - I managed to find a beautiful birthstone necklace for under R100.00. An absolute must for anybody visiting Philiadelphia...A local instituition in its own right.

I love visiting here on a Sunday especially. They have a great collection. I would recommend being more active and visible on social media, I think it will do the business good to tell more of their story on these platforms. Also, to update the website to a more visually pleasing and up to date standard will already make a massive difference. I would like to send people there, I am a big fan, but very little people know about this amazing shop. (that I have spoken to.)
