Restrooms are extremely clean. Owners are very accommodating to requests. There are a lot of hawkers and loitering so just keep an eye out. When visiting hole-in-the-wall the locals charge R240 as a guide" fee. But all in all a good experience."

What an unspoiled gem! The camping sites are spacious and right next to the beach! Fanie, Inanda, Lulu, Sam and George was so helpful and went out of their way to make our camping holiday one for the books! We will definitely be back soon. The dirt road to Coffee Bay is the better option as the tar roaf needs a lot of work!

Beside the tons of mosquitoes that are able to penetrate through your clothes, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Spacious camp sites and has all basics on sites. Toilets, showers and water is available. Wood for fire is sold around the camp site. Private entrance from campsite to the beach also available. See

Beautiful tropical forest bush camp with private beach and neat ablutions (cleaned every morning). Campsite is raked and trash removed every morning. Very friendly and helpful owners. Many restaurants nearby.

The coffee bay caravan park is not a campsite that I would recommend. I wanted to book for me and my friends at the firefly campsite, I visited their website, and called the number that was there. The person on the phone told me that I was calling firefly campsite, but it wasn't. When we arrived at the campsites, the ones at firefly told us that we have booked at the coffee bay caravan park. The coffee bay caravan park has a lots of shade and the spots are quite big. Also there are fireplaces. Though they don't come with a metal grid to put the meat on. Also there are freezers available in the reception. The campsite has it own near to private beach. It is small but very nice. If one preferrs a bigger beach, there is also the public beach next to it. The public beach is very long. The two beaches are separated by a hill. The biggest problem though is the sowers. Even though in the website it says that there is warm water, it isn't like that. The geiser that they use is very old, and runs on gas. I only showered once with warm water. The other times I always had to shower with cold water. The bathrooms are not sanitary at all. And the fence around the campsite is damaged, and partlywise has huge gaps.

Very nice camping spot in a natural coastal forest. Come prepared as water and electricity might not always be available. Basic ablutions with gas hot water showers.

The people were helpful, but the rest of the place not great. The restrooms were the biggest problem; there are 3 showers and only 1 works, hot water last about 30 seconds before it is ice cold. No mirrors and guests are expected to bring their own toilet paper. The place has great potential if they are willing to invest a bit.Not the place if you are scared a crawling things, a lot of spiders and mosquitoes. I won’t recommend this place.

We camped overnight here in July of 2016 and I hope this review is for the correct park. Our host and hostess were wonderful. We were the only rig in the park and they are building their new home on the site while camping" in the reception buidling. Nice people
