Manhattan Lofts Rental Apartments

hi all, i have to say that I was extremely surprised when i had a problem at my flat the response from Manhattan Loft was amazing. I am from flat 321. Within 24 hours i was contacted and the following day my problem was sorted. keep it up all of you involved.

I was helped by Tshireletso. It was a smooth process and she explained everything to me and took me through their processes in detail. I would highly recommend her to help with the application and onboarding process. So far I am happy.

I made an application which was pre approved as per ITC suddenly I got a message from the lady(Amanda) who assisted with the viewing that my application has been denied after vetting as a result of working for the NPA as a prosecutor. I honestly had no idea that certain individuals were disqualified and denied residence just because of their profession. Completely unfair!!!

I was assisted by Precious at first and she was a darling throughout the process, the current agent who handles my account is Nonkululeko, she’s also a darling, very helpful.Like most people have noted on the reviews, the place is a bit secluded, it’s easier to move around if you have a car, or have an organized stable transport.The rooms are a bit smaller, for my liking but that could be because I personally prefer to own certain stuff, I noticed people didn’t say much about the room sizes.The apartments differ, so depending on what you are looking for you, might have to pay higher.The place and service is great, I love the gate system, the electricity and WiFi system, I love the announcement system, it’s clean and well maintained and I love that they have a play area for the kids. There is still construction of other apartments, though it’s not really a bother.

My agent was Yoliswa Dube for Manhattan Lofts. The service was immaculate, she was so patient and made the application process so much easier. She was present and helpful with all the information and moving process.

I regret the day I moved to Manhattan Lofts, I will never recommend this place to anyone. When we moved in service was excellent, we were assisted by Sihle very helpful guy. Our first night there was horrible, we did not sleep in the unit we had to sleep in the car because of the cockroches they were all over the unit bedrooms, kitchen everywhere. I was very disappointed, I reported the matter several times, the unit was fumigated 3 times, I had to make a plan ya accommodation as we couldn't sleep there. Cockroches were getting worse I had to buy a powder as I couldn't take it anymore and it was better than before. We were compensated ka R1000 electricity for sleeping in the car which I appreciate. I thought nightmares were about to finish, haaaibo now there were rats in the unit that's when I got mad and decided to move out I didn't even report this I just wanted myself out. Mistake that I made was not giving a notice so we had to struggle at the gate since we didn't have gate pass. Sihle had to come and assist us, we were advised that since we didn't give 30 days we will have to pay 2 months rent that we were aware of because it's mentioned on the lease but I could not stay there till November I was gonna die. But really what do you do when you are not happy with the place do you continue paying? We were told that as soon as we leave the complex we will be Blacklisted like how? I'm happy I'm no longer staying there. Electricity it's worse R 200 last for 4 days even if there is no one at home is still charges ridiculous amounts. I really don't recommend this place to anyone.
