The food was good. However, the waiting time was really long even though they were not too busy. We were also not pleased by the fact that half of our prawn dimsum starter came before our main meal and the other half came with the rest of the main meals. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience. Would recommend.

It was womans day. Took my mum out. Ques outside were long, but it was ok since it was an holiday. Ordered a Platter for 2 (R319) and a Portuguese steak. I was very impressed. The food was delicious took about 40 min waiting time for the food. Steak was done medium rare has I ordered and had a delicious sauce. Please note the steak is not the best on the market but for the price it was good. They did forget my hot Veg which I Ordered but it's not a biggie. Will Def go there again. Food was priced right and very affordable with the quantities served.

Char grilled peri peri chicken breasts are the best at the Suncoast branch. Good service by waitress on last visit.

I went on a solo date in the beginning of the year. Great place, beautiful scenary if you're seated outside. Great place to go when you're on budget but require quality but affordable food. Loved the service and the atmosphere.

Visited John Dorys Suncoast with a family of 3. Ordered a Seafood Sharing Platter for 4 which included 4x hake, calamari, squids, creamy mussels and prawns with sides of rice and chips. Opted for fried with Garlic/Lemon butter sauce. The atmosphere was okay . Service was okay. The food was fresh and lovely.Overall it was a good experience

2 stars for the waitress, poor thing was running around like a headless chicken trying to serve the tables,the rest of the experience was not enjoyable.1. Grossly understaffed for peak season , so you have to wait a while just to be seated.2. Had to wait approx 50 minutes to get my food.3. Kitchen staff burned my fish and turned the fish around to hide" the burnt part."

The manager Sandy is amazing. Whenever she is on shift we have the cleanest toilets to use (which usually it's always a problem), great meals with no issues and all served timeously.

Great sushi, it really sucked in 2021 but it's gotten so much better! Definitely worth trying now! Good service too!
