Work project in Hopefield. Typical platteland hotel. Warm welcome, immaculate linen and clean room. Lovely kuierstoep and garden and excellent food. A very positive experience.

Comfortable, can cater to any social drinker. The bar is beatifull and neat. No food served anymore due to lack of demand. Well worth a visit anyway.

This is your typical country hotel, stuck in time. Don't expect much, but you will get reasonably priced drinks and an opportunity to meet the locals.

This hotel is bound in a beautiful time... No disruption from modern distractions. Allowing one to be social, the real way it should be.With a lounge, seperate from the dining room, it is classic class.Enjoy the personal attention that the hosts give.Very peaceful, clean, organised facility.Friendly hosts, great service.

We ate here on Friday and the food was incredible ! We sat in the courtyard with a beautiful garden - we loved everything about the tapas. Wonderful place.

Friends and family recently enjoyed staying over at the Commercial Hotel in Hopefield.............. typical rustig platteland atmosphere ......... owner/manager Jaques and his team provided excellent hospitality ...... specially catered for each guest's breakfast needs ......... went the extra mile, much appreciated ......... highly recommended!
