Did the 8.30am session with Greg. Our 1st canyoning experienceStarted with getting our kit packed and something worth noting. Everything is provided but you must carry it and the trip back was a bit tougher with wetsuits and it was hot. The first 30mins you hike through unspoilt forest and Greg shared some information about some trees and plants. He mentioned they had seen a caracal fairly recently, we weren't as fortunate.Changed into our kit once we reached the abseiling point. Greg ran through all the safety drills and we had a practice run on how to use the equipment. And time to drop into the 30m gorge, a bit daunting as it was our 1st ever abseil. As Greg coached us we had to trust the equipment and then it became easier. The views going down into the river were incredible. Landing is on a rockAfter landing you wade through the water you have a bit of a swim and then can do a few optional cliff jumps that vary from about 2m to 13m . Greg also coaches you on how to jumpAnother shorter hike back to abseil point, get changed and the hike back which is mostly uphill. Wear decent walking shoes and clothes, a good test especially if it's hot but all worth it . A great experience and let's not forget the homemade energy bar you receive when getting back to abseil point

Best experiance possible!We went kloofing with Greg, and it was the best day of our garden route trip.Greg is such a pro, patient, and very informative.His attention felt very personal, which we really appriciated.So happy we chose Canyon Adventures, it really turned out to be the best decision.P.s. his home made power bar was so cute and delicious!

Greg was our guide for Suicide Gorge (Kloofing Trip close to Cape Town). We had a great time doing the tour with him and can highly recommend choosing him a guide. The communication before the trip was flawless and he shared his knowledge about South Africas Nature & Culture during the hike and adjusted to our limits inside and outside of the canyon, ensuring everybody could enjoy the tour. Can't get any better than this.

Greg made us have a wonderful fun day in wilderness with many nice challenging jumps into the water and a hike through the Bush with interesting facts about flora and fauna there. Great day, great guide!

We absolutely loved our time abseiling and cliff jumping. Greg is friendly and so passionate about what he does! His communication was brilliant throughout all the planning. Beautiful activity to do as a family or with friends. Would definitely recommend Canyon Adventures for anyone looking for a thrilling, outdoor adventure.

The trip was amazing, life experience even, its my first time to do a hike that was this amazing, the jumps into the river were greatOur tour guy(Greg) was a very nice guy, love nature and have a lot of information, so it was fun to hear from him all about the trees and wild animals.Just keep in mind, it is not very easy hike and adventure , it requires some level of fitnessBut because of this, it was amazing

Best adventure I ever have done . Greg was a great coach . The trip include hiking, rock down a mountain, jumping in to the river and swimming.At the end he give us a yummy snack and video for the whole tripDon’t miss it

Greg guided my family and I on the River Adventure tour for my birthday, and it was incredible!The kids (and I) had fun jumping off the cliffs into the water and the scenery was breath-taking.Greg is extremely professional and made sure we stayed safe while having as much fun as possible.Thanks Greg, we'll be back!
