Hameeda is an excellent psychologist; she has always treated me with empathy and compassion. For the past few years, she has helped me deal with childhood trauma, depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation and my mental health has never been better.

I have been a patient of Hameeda’s for the past 3 years, after having seen other clinical psychologists. She is supporting me through very challenging and traumatic experiences that living with Cancer and all its side effects along with Life’s challenges come with.The stigma of living with Mental illness often deters patients from seeking psychological help, under her care and with her understanding and objective demeanor I’ve overcome many challenges that at times have consumed and could have been detrimental to my health and relationships. I know my circumstances and condition will require me to remain under her care for some time to come, but I’m confident in being coached mentally and emotionally by her. Psychology is her calling and it shows.

Hameeda Bassa-Suleman has a manner which made me feel safe with her from the first session, and which has continued to make me feel valued as an individual who is treated with genuine concern for my personal welfare at all times. Her approach, which combines traditional talk therapy with a number of other methods means she provides individualised therapeutic plans suited to each patient's needs. In my case, her combination of talk therapy, BWRT and support in developing independent daily coping mechanisms has allowed me to maker more rapid progress under her care than previously.
