I learned about 'Clone Hero', a 'Guitar Hero' spin off that allows you to add your own songs. Finally I was able to fulfill my boyhood ambition of playing lead guitar for Avril Lavigne.I just needed Guitar Hero controller for my PC. I found one for Xbox 360 on Bid or Buy, advertised by Pwned Games.Popped over to the store the next morning where I received the unit. Though it was a second hand guitar, it was in great condition and came with a three month warranty.I thought it would be a straight forward process to use the wireless Xbox 360 guitar controller on my PC since they are both manufactured by the Microsoft corporation.Daniel, the staff member who assisted me, advised me however that I'd need to get a dongle for it to work and was able to provide a generic one at a great price. He also assured me that if I can't get it to work we'd be able to make a plan and so I felt reassured with my purchase.I was easily able to set up my new guitar on PC and have been jamming ever since - thanks Daniel!

Pwned games is just bloody fantastic! I received my Nintendo Switch lite a few minutes ago, it is second hand, and it honestly feels brand new! No scratches, nudda! Pwned games must have stolen Sonic's powers because their delivery was super sonic fast! Customer service is top notch! Great job oaks!

I'm looking at the Google map reviews and I'm really confused. I think the reviews are talking about the website. The physical store on the other hand is completely useless.Firstly, finding the shop requires that you have an experienced wizard to get to it because there are no signs or anything. It's pretty much hidden.Secondly, as you stand in the shop looking at anything, there are no prices and when you take some of the stock to the counter they tell you that you have to request the price online via email and then you can purchase within 2-3 days.My main question is why is there a physical store if you can pick up the item, take it to the counter and then not buy it because you have to email about that item.I am sure the website is probably great, but if you are in a rush thinking you can quickly buy something for a friend today... Don't waste your time, just do it online.

Great customer service, very knowledgeable in terms of console parts and replacements, and genuinely kind people, fixed an issue with my console within an hour! They also have an amazing collection of games, would definitely recommend a visit for anyone who's a collector of physical games.

Visted the store once while on vacation from the USA. It had both positives and negatives. Unfortunatly, the negatives far outweighed the positives. Let's start with the positives...The Positives:It has a good selection of games to choose from, and the store is well kept.The Negatives:Good luck actually finding the store. It's within a cranped office complex with poor signage, and an idiotically narrow one way that no one adheres too. Even the gate security couldn't give clear directions on where it actually was. 30 Minutes later we eventually found it up a back-alley flight of stairs, behind a phone booth... no signage to speak of till you are at the front-door.The staff are basically kids who looked like they had better things to do than actually engage with customers (just us). These things included; whispering to each other, and having no actual answers regarding any of games. They literally had no idea what the PAL region was despite living in it, and selling video games. They just came off as disinterested, and clock watching.There where practically no prices, games where unmarked and you have to go and ask what things cost. Which would be fine if they actually knew, instead you have to wait for text messages to be sent to the owners/managers (presummably) in order to get a price. At this poitn one has to ask... Why even have a physical brick and mortar store?"In summary

You can find lots of interesting stuff in the store online, and have good service.Would love to visit the physical store if I'm ever in Cape Town.

Always fun to visit this shop when we are in Cape Town. Huge variety of games! Anything from Rare Sega Genesis games all the way to limited edition Nintendo Switch games. They are also one of very few stores that I have seen carry 8bitDo products which is nice! Their new premises is amazing and the staff is super friendly and helpful!UPDATE: Upon understanding how their store works, I have changed my review from a 4 to a 5 Star.
