I had my hair done by Chantel who was very professional and kept great conversation.The lady that did the hair washing (apologies for no name, her badge was covered by a towel) was incredible! She gave the best massage I've ever had. The coffee, conversation and vibe is just what I needed.

I went and saw Tina today, who did an incredible job getting my stubborn hair icy and light. The staff are so friendly, so smart, so incredibly professional and good at their jobs and the services are very very reasonably priced. 10/10 would recommend

My friend booked a middle length hair wash, cut and blow on Tuesday. She was quoted R260 Pensioners rate. She's partially blind and deaf, so we only picked up they charged R470 to her card when we got home. On calling the lady was very defensive and said a junior staff member had made a mistake. No apology or offer to compromise, and no call from the manager, which she promised. Another example of how the elderly are taken advantage of.We will not use their services again.

I first met Tina at Body Sense when my best friend needed to have her hair shaved when her hair started falling out during chemotherapy - my friend was at the time very tearful and stressed about it. Tina was exceptionally kind and compassionate towards my friend - one of the reasons I chose her to do my own hair a few months later.Having Botox hair treatment and highlights at Body Sense in Harbour Bay was the best thing I've ever done for my hair. I live in the UK and regularly visit my elderly parents in Noordhoek, so needed my hair done before returning. Up until then, my naturally curly hair has been exceptionally dry, frizzy and out of condition. For the past 3 years, I had also been experiencing very itchy and painful, weepy sores on my scalp (possibly eczema) which I was planning to visit my GP about upon my return to the UK. I'd been concerned the chemicals used might make this condition worse as I regularly need to have my grey roots done. Tina (hairdresser) at Body Sense advised me the botox hair treatment would help the condition of my hair but retain my natural curls, which is what I wanted. I was somewhat hesitant to have highlights as well (dry my hair out further) but felt very safe in Tina's hands after her advice. I felt SO courageous that I even decided to let Tina do a combination of pink/blond highlights (so very 'punk' of me!) after I'd had my roots and botox done.Fast forward 4 months ... do you know that feeling when you do your own hair and it feels like the hairdresser has done it, every time? Well, that's what it's felt like since having the botox. My hair has never ever been this great and I simply loved what Tina did. I kid you not, but strangers have literally stopped me in the street to tell me they love my hair and my friends and family who all know me, have often complimented the style of my, its improved condition and especially the pink highlights (now my signature). Sadly they've faded now but I won't let anyone else do it.Imagine my surprise to find since having the botox treatment, my scalp problem has cleared up. Completely. I've not had one sore or annoying itchiness since then.Tina, you are amazing but please don't get too busy that I can't get an appointment with you when I come back to Cape Town!Warm regards, Lesley Dawe

I went today for my fist facial in my 42 years of age as a special treat to myself for reaching a personal weight goal. I chose the 60min anti ageing facial. My booking was at 10h00. Upon my arrival, I was told I get a free 30 min massage on top of my facial as my booking was on a Friday. I was delighted! When my massage and facial was complete, I was told I can get dressed. I looked at my watch and it was 11h05. So where did the other 25 min go? The loud noise from the hair dryers and women chatting away was also such a let down, I could barely hear the calm music in my room. Then the card machine wouldn't work, so I had to go draw money only to be told they forgot to try the second card machine. What a let down :(

Fantastic Experience!I nearly didn't book an appointment here because of the shocking reviews. But followed the advice of a recent review that said we should ignore all the bad ones.I'm glad I did! Tina cut my hair and I'm super happy with the outcome and enjoyed the experience overall. She was super nice as well as all the staff in general.Please consider giving these guys a try as they have certainly improved since the bad reviews. I will be going back!

It was my first time and what a lovely reception. Staff all sound hapoy and relaxed. Priscilla gave me a wonderful massage, facial & express pedi. I will definately be going back again. Thank you ladies. I enjoyed my experience
