What an amazing experience on a Friday afternoon. The scones are the best I have ever eaten served with hillcrest strawberry or Berry jams and clotted cream. It's peaceful and beautiful I hadn't been there in years and it is still the same standard as always. The views are breathtaking which adds to the. Ultimate experience Will be back. As soon as I can.

Absolutely delicious homemade scones. Fresh melt in your mouth. Views are absolutely stunning. Service very good. Just had 1 gripe the fresh cream was not fresh cream served with scones but some other alternative to cream. Was a bit disappointed with that only.

If you are looking for a chilled place with stunning views then this is the place to be !! Lovely indoor and outdoor seating area while looking at the mountains .My friend had bobotie and I had pasta. The portion was okay and the food tasted nice but the bobotie was not warm enough .We also had blueberry pancakes and scones . For scones you can choose two flavours of jam .For those with kids , there is a playing area. :)

Hubby and I had High Tea here and it was such a wonderful experience and a highlight of my week! Great views, great little treats and wonderful service! The price was so reasonable in comparison to many other places that charge a small fortune for high tea.

We stopped for the best scones and jam. The seafood chowder was disappointing - it was supposed to be topped with prawns but there was no prawns and the seafood was lacking - it was just a chowder with no seafood. The chicken burger and chips were delicious. Lovely country farm vibe. Our waitress was so friendly. Parking outside the restaurant. Beautiful views. The store has a huge selection of delicious jams.

A lovely little restaurant with a small shop filled with various jams, cheeses, preserves, etc. The scones are warm, fresh and delicious and the entire menu is very well priced. The jams are great, delicate and not overly sweet. Table service was wonderful too.The restaurant is conveniently located just outside Stellenbosch, so the drive out isnt very long. A very underrated gem of the winelands, and a wonderful snack spot after a hike.

Our first visit after a break of at least three years, and it was just as enjoyable as we remembered it. The food was tasty and well presented, the setting was superb (not that we expected a change!) and the staff were charming.

We had the clotted cream and scones with two jams. The scones were superb. The jams delicious, and well, the clotted cream was the cherry on top, so to speak. Service was informative and prompt. Thank you Hillcrest... you will be seeing more of us!!

Visited their coffee shop. Service was great as always. Cosy atmosphere and the nice little fireplace makes it very pleasant. Scones was absolutely delicious as always and the view is great
