Panzi Lodge

We found this place really hard to get to. Its a long drive from PTA and the heat made it that much more unbearable.Other than that, we really enjoyed our weekend stay at Panzi. The small staff compliment was really attentive and helpful.The rooms are private and well ventilated with aircon. Bar fridge available to fill up with beverages for the hot days.The food was delicious!We enjoyed the Safari drive around the nature reserve. The guides imparted their knowledge of the fauna and flora. Willing to make stops for all the amazing snaps and answered the many questions we had.

Thanks Irene, Charmaine, and Jacob for the lovely experience at Panzi Lodge. Every day's food was delicious, we were well taken care of, and had close encounters with the animals.Irene was always checking in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. Jacob was a fantasic guide during our sunset drive and bush walks. The reserve was like his backyard - he knew where to find the animals and navigate the area well. We encountered baby giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, warthogs, buffalos, and many birds. Charmaine introduced us to a delicious coffee place - Mugg & Bean, I've been drinking the coffee every day since then. We had a lovely fun time playing with Charmaine's dog at the lodge too.The rooms were neat and clean. The insect nets helped to keep the insects out while we were sleeping. It was like camping in the wildness, but comfortably with a nice bed, restroom, and air conditioning.We loved the bbq food and desserts. There was an open bar where we could grab any alcoholic drinks (charged to our room) any time. There was also free sparkling and still water dispensers.

We were happy at the Lodge.Charmaine took great care of us and made us feel very welcome and cared for.Staff was kind and attentive too.A place we would love to return to in the future.

The place is tranquil. The hostess and her staff are absolute angels. Please give this place a visit in December and have an awesome experience... Oh, and the food was delicious

This small lodge located about 20 minutes off the main road via a dirt road. It offers good accommodations, bedrooms are independent huts reachable via wooden tracks to give you the jungle feeling.They offer packed breakfast when you go on an early morning safari, great to quench hunger but a bit too sweet for my taste (chocolate croissants, cookies, etc).Dinner is freshly prepared and the staff is very friendly. They have an honest bar (write down what you consumed) sufficiently stocked with variety of alcoholic drinks.Rooms have a small fridge and a bottle of water.They offer a safari to nearby reserve or arrange via a safari companies at Kruger national park.The distance from main road on a bumpy dirt road adds significant amount of time to your safaris. (Add 45 minute round trip).They make this up by offering friendly staff, rides to the airport or the pick up point of your safari.

Amazing food, friendly staff and comfortable chalets. Peaceful and charming and I haven't even started talking about the excursions. A great place to stay if you are visiting the South African bush.

Panzi lodge has the most amazing views. The units are nicely situated, ensuring there is privacy.Our unit was clean and we loved the outdoor shower. A mini bar fridge was a perfect addition needed to keep our drinks cold.The staff is so helpful and amazing.Food.We were served a very tasty breakfast and dinner plus dessert. Generous portions were served.Covid-19 regulations strictly adhered to.Irene and Charmaine are such amazing hosts. This place is definitely a gem and i will be going back soon.

A very beautiful hidden gem in the Guernsey nature reserve. Cleanliness is out of this world. Tranquility and peace. Waking up to the sound of birds.. I loved everything about the place. The room is fully equipped, bar fridge, aircon, mosquito net hairdryer.The setup in the room is vey beautiful, the patio outside with beautiful view. Oh there's also a viewing deck( beautiful view up there) where you can go chill and watch animals drink water. The staff is very friendly and the owner is very welcoming. I love the variety of food served for both breakfast and dinner.

This place is absolutely awesome!!! Our next trip is already booked at Panzi.Very affordable and super friendly staff, We felt welcome ate like Kings and in our element. Reading previous reviews I can't believe people complain about bugs.
