Hoodoo Tattoos

What an awesome place. José was our tattoo artist. From the great energy, relaxed atmosphere and attention to not only the clients needs, but our immersion into the experience, I can only say was extraordinary.These being our first tattoos', we are so glad we made the decision to go with Hoodoo Tattoo Studio. A humble and appreciative thank you to José, for making our experience memorable. We will be going back to East London with fond memories.

Jose is absolutely wonderful. He's engaged in the consultation - and is a great listener for your ideas, inspirations, wishes - but also challenges you and works with you to get the most out of your design. Couldn't recommend him enough - cheers Jose!

Two Brits on a honeymoon in CT looking for a special memory to take away with us - contacted Hoodoo by email and dealt with Ash. Everything was easy going, we swapped details and ideas and booked in a day to work around our holidays (very kindly I might add given load shedding times, staff working hours etc!)On the day, we met José, an absolute gent and a riot to chat to. Really good guy and a proper talent - he could tattoo with one hand, stoned and his eyes closed and still draw straight. He knocked together designs on the day and we left with them inked on forever. He’s a totally relaxed guy with great humour and loves British comedy (AH HAAAAA!!)Great studio, pleasure to cross paths with. See you on the other side Partridge.

Had the best experience here. Jose is professional, kind, and welcoming. A group of us went in together to get matching pieces. He took the time to collaborate with each of us and explain the process. I felt comfortable and taken care of. Clean, funky place with good vibes. Would absolutely recommend!
