Bosch Car Service Cencar

Been phoning them for 3 hrs just with the phone ringing. Once someone eventually answered there was no real apologetic tone and made one feel as how dare I mentioned the phone not being answered. Phone H-Q and they answered immediately.

Can honestly recommend Bosch Car Service. Beat the price from my manufacturer on a major service by more than 50%. The staff (Anchen) was friendly, professional and assisted me with all my queries. Thanks again

I received a great service for my mercedes benz e250 cdi that I brought for my b-service. I received also received updates that included the time my car would be ready for collection. It is the first time I received such attention, and I am looking forward to having my car continually serviced by Bosch. The lady who assisted with booking and administration was excellent in the service she gave me.

DO NOT USE THIS HORIBLE AND INCOMPETENT place. They reconditioned" my alternator. Less than a year later had a breakdown due to alternator making a noise. Had to get a tow truck to get it home. Took the car to a different repair center. They advised me that the brushes were never replaced and from what they can see not much has been done on the alternator. They sent me photos of the parts. I do understand wear and tear but brushes cannot wear out that bad in less than a year. Bearings were also severely worn and damaged. I had the alternator done by the trust worthy repair center and the car sound 1000 time better than the time this was done at Cencar. They can't give any proof either that the unit was indeed sent in for repairs or any paper work as to what was done on the alternator. STAY AWAY from Cencar."

I decided to take my car to Bosch Cencar Centurion, as it was leaking from the engine. They advised me of the R713 diagnostic fee, which I agreed to. Around 2 pm the same day (Friday 28 October 2022) the service advisor, Anchen, called me to advise that the problem was with the seal at the gearbox, which will have to be replaced. She advised it will cost over R18 000.I asked her during her call if they have space to keep my car over the weekend or if I should come to fetch it, while they wait to hear from the gearbox guy if he can finish the work in a week, she advised that they will be able to keep my car.I consulted with third parties on Friday evening and they all advised that the amount quoted is very high and the diagnoses don't make sense, as the coolant of my car had to be filled up twice in a month, this was also stated to the service provider on the intake of the vehicle.The Saturday morning I advised the service advisor, Anchen, not to start any work and that I would collect my car on Monday. I was horrified when driving past the Bosch on Saturday to find my car parked outside with NO security in an open area. I went to fetch my car with the spare key. The Monday I paid the diagnostic fee and fetched my key.The Tuesday I took my car to Volkswagen Centurion and they advised the problem is not with the gearbox, but with the water pump and that the car can be repaired the same day. The cost is still over R14 000, but at least the correct issue was sorted out.Cencar Bosch can't even identify the correct problem, but they have no issue charging you the diagnostic fee.This isn't a business, it's a bunch of unethical people scamming you for money. Rather go somewhere else and spare yourself the anger, frustration, and, disappointment!!!!!

Our recent experience servicing our company vehicle at your Bosch branch Centurion:We have taken two of our vehicle there and the experience was not pleasant at all, but will say that the consultants were friendly etc.The first time we serviced our Renault Clio , we tried getting a hold of the consultant to let us know when the car will be ready to collect after a minor service, after trying for two hours to get a hold of anyone your office was closed already and we had to come back the next morning to fetch the car. That is unacceptable, we did not agree for the car to stand overnight.Secondly, the next morning fetching the car there was a part missing in the front of the inside, where I assume they did the diagnostic. But when we asked for it, the consultant just mentioned we will have to replace it ourselves they cannot find it.This week I referred another vehicle to you for services and firstly we waiting a days to get a reply to even make a booking, someone finally assisted us and we got the VW Polo serviced. Our company does not allow us to make any card payments in store so we make use of EFT. No one told us the EFT had to be an immediate payment, otherwise we would’ve arranged for that. But when we showed up to collect the car, we were informed it had to stay there. Which was really an inconvenience for the driver, as she had to make other arrangements to get back home.I hope you can read through this and make some changes to your service delivery for future customers.We tried contacting and emailing the manager, but to no avail, hence leaving a review here.

I had them do some minor but detailed painting and do a service on the engine as well as fixing a fault on the electronics. Super affordable and awesome work was done. I was kept up to date with everything and a I almost got an update everyday. I would 100% suggest Bosch/renew my car in Jacaranda street to anyone.

Booked my car in Monday 09/01/2023. Was told it will take two days. After 4 days they haven’t finished and say it will be finished by Friday 13/01/2023. Everyday they give feedback that it will be ready the next day. I’m disgusted with the time they take on replacing a clutch for a professional company.
