I recently purchased an inverter from calypso lighting to run my home office and was greatly impressed with the customer service levels I experienced. The sales and management staff were super friendly and they went the extra mile to get my inverter unit assembled before I came to pick it up. Now I can continue working without the stress of any loadshedding interruptions

Bought 2 desk lamps. When they were available went to collect brought them home... Surprise do not match. When I took therm back to the store the manager was astounded that I wanted two matching lamps.... He can never guarantee that he tells me. My question is then why sell them to me.... With disdain I am told car models change all the time so do lamps!" he can't guarantee that what we buy and he orders will be what we paid for when he receives the order. When I suggested this was ludicrous I was treated with absolute disrespect as the customer. Yes I was refunded but why take my money if you can't guarantee what I purchase is what I will get. Won't be going back..... Ever!"

What an amazing shop with such a wide variety. The best helpfull and friendliest service guaranteed. I will never go anywhere else.Thank you to the manager and staff.

What a great experience... We went back to Calypso after some years as we remembered that besides a fantastic variety and selection of lights, Dominic & Rocky offered fantastic service. This time was no exception, we left with a quote and a week or so later realised we needed the lights in a hurry (that day). Rocky came out to our house to eyeball the space and our needs. We weren't sure in terms of how many lights the space needed. We made a decision, I eft'd and there and then Ricky got Dominic to order the lights. Rocky went off to Marlboro, collected the lights and dropped them back with me. Phenomenal, totally unexpected service. They will always be my go to for any lighting needs going forward!!!
