Mays Chemists Parkview

Great personal feel to the place.

I went in there this morning and the two ladies at the front desk didn't even bother to acknowledge me or ask if I need any help, rather they just continued having a chat. Extremely unhelpful and terrible service. I will definitely not be going there again.

I live in the area and have used Mays for 10 years or more. Wife and kids use dischem and I wondered if I am not a bit stupid to stick with Vanessa just because of excellent personal experience and loyalty.During Covid period I discovered true value of a relationship with your pharmacy with numerous examples: first one was when flu vaccines were suddenly in short supply Vanessa retained and sourced them purely for customers she knows. She got these while my connected doctor wife couldn't. Similarly sources scarce medication for a few other ailments.I purely emailed/phoned all orders and got deliveries promptly and paid afterwards with efts to avoid unnecessary shopping trips. When I couldn't find doctors to renew scripts during covid she supplies with scripts supplied retrospectively = very ethically when she knows they were subscribed before or chronically used.Her advice and knowledge on savings by using generics or clones invaluable (also which ones NOT to use)So excellent pharmacy - not just Vanessa but her assistant Janine years ago and staff. Highly recommended.

Mays Chemist is part of the Parkview village family. I have lived in Parkview since 1993 and Vanessa and her staff have always been helpful, friendly and professional.

Honestly, just go somewhere else - it will probably be much cheaper. Dr Shehab is generally rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. Customer service is actually very poor.
