So they come to disconnect the electricity. While their technician is there he not so subtly suggests that if I pay him something he won't cut me off. As tempted as I am I decide that I'd rather not be part of the massive corruption problem that is the South Africa government.So as a dutiful citizen I go into the municipal branch the next day (which is top 10 ranked most stressful thing you can so in South Africa) to do what is right"

Poor, unacceptable attitude when speaking to them over the phone. Very unhelpful. Cuts off calls. Arrogant.

It doesn't deserve any stars. No one answers the phone. The attitude is unbelievable. I went to buy electricity and they swiped the card but still gave me electricity for the wrong meter number if not resolved I will take it further!

Absolutely useless. Waited 12 months for them to change we electricity connection from above ground to below ground. Then when they finally completed the task; they ìnstall the prepaid meter and don't submit job card for registration. We want 2days without electricity because of their incompetence

My meter was changed on Saturday was told I will be able to buy electricity after an hour but that did not happen, from Saturday I had no electricity ,on Monday 15 October 2018 ,I went to Durban electricity offices in Durban station that was at 9 was told my card is not working was told to go to card division a lady who helped me told me they were no details she will capture them was told to go and buy at Martin west after an hour waited till 12 went to Martin west still card not working was promised by the lady at electricity offices Durban station that she will phone me which never happened I have been without electricity from Saturday till now my food went off my insulin I won't be able to use now it need to be in the fridge 24/7 What a bad experience I'm going back nje to Durban station mind you I keep on asking permission at work Can some one help me it seems as if I will be going to the dark house again today
