Amazing people in a spot of paradise. In particular Andre Visser, a scholar and a gentleman.

Leeuwenkloof is beautifull and surrounded by nature and situated in the Broederstroom area close to Hartbeespoort Dam. There is a couple of challenging and moderate 4X4 routes. You can also overnight in the furnished tents. There are clean ablution fascilities, conference centre and a lapa with braai boma. The staff is friendly and very helpfull. Definitely worth the visit for day and weekend visitors.

Beautiful hike 40 min from JHB. Pre-book as you need a guide. We did the 10km hike through a cave - very cool. Medium hike, a few tougher hills, took about 3.5 hrs. Recommended - have a lunch pit stop half way

A very interesting hike @ Leeuwenkloof Events Venue (Broerderstroom) this Woman's day.The hike was more or less 9kms and actually took us through a really cool cave! This is a guided hike and booking is essential. R70 per person payable prior to the day of your hike via EFT. This hike is for groups only and your group needs to consist of at least 10 people. After exploring the cave the trail leads to a dam perfect for a picnic or braai. We spotted some vlakvark on the way up the mountain and dogs are allowed off leash. This is a good winter morning hike as it is all in the sun. Please start this one early and make sure you and the pups stay well hydrated. Suitable for the moderately fit.Different activities from mountain biking, 4 x 4 trails, fishing, accommodation and scooters makes this a great weekend destination for the adventurous souls out there. If you are in the mood for something different this one is for you.
