ELECTROSPEC Compliance

After being advised to using a highly unethical company by the estate agent as well as the conveyancing attorney who benefits financially from the excessively inflated and ridiculous repairs quoted for; I tried the private route for the necessary Certificates of Compliance for the sale of my property. The private contractors seem to be very overpriced as well; also with work quoted for that was far over and above what was required for compliancy. I then decided to give Electrospec a try. The electrical and plumbing inspections were done in a professional and transparent manner, quotes were given for the necessary work for compliance and their rates were affordable. Work was done timeously and professionally, the office staff was tremendously professional and friendly and I can recommend them 100%.

Process was smooth. Communication was very good and they were on time for both appointments. Very happy with work done.

Absolutely shocking workmanship for their compliance for a place I just purchased in Claremont. I have just spent near R10 000 in fixing issues that were not sorted out by their compliance team (Jerome). 2 plug sockets marked as faulty were merely marked as such and not actually fixed. Garden lights completely broken and exposed electrics to rain were not replaced which trip the power when its raining. Instead they reran pipe conduit and decided to use white when the existing was black and blended in. They too used white silicon on black conduit.The geyser electrics down to the circuit board from the roof were completely burnt out and corroded but not even seen by them.I did not even contact them to fix their utter incompetence as I don't have time to babysit. Good contractors are worth their weight in gold. That is not the case here

Great service, great value and very responsive. From the start I decided to book two compliance companies to do inspections - and I am so glad I did, Electrospec were better on every measure. If fact, I am still waiting for a report from an inspection done over a week ago days ago from the other company, and the electrical quote was almost three times more expensive.
