For the following reasons we cannot recommend K&B anymore. The customer service at the kiosk counter is a nightmare and the cashier's handling of biltong and dirty money is both unsanitary and dangerous. The handling of packets as they are tossed with exposed meat products touching the sticky dirty counter and scale or everywhere as there is a lack of care and respect for customers. The printed lotto receipts are also at times strewn all over the counter and sometimes even on the scale used to weigh biltong, which can contaminate the food with BPA, a chemical that can be toxic when ingested. Ingesting BPA can cause a variety of short-term and long-term health problems. Short-term symptoms may include headaches, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. Long-term symptoms may include reproductive issues, an increased risk of certain cancers, and an increased risk of metabolic disorders, such as diabetes and obesity.Furthermore, customers have been known to leave the line due to long wait times. There is also a problem with people urinating in the alley. Means lack of enforcement by security.Although there are many great people working there that go the extra mile to keep customers happy, it is sad that the great customer experience is lost at the checkout or at the kiosk.Businesses and retailers should prioritize customer service by embracing the Moreki Pele principles. They promote placing the customer first and meeting their needs and expectations. To provide customers with the best experience possible, businesses and retailers should respect their time, be empathetic, communicate clearly, offer choices and flexibility, take responsibility and accountability, and listen and act on customer feedback. By doing so, businesses and retailers can ensure the best customer service.Moreki Pele (Customer First) is an extension of the Batho Pele (People First) philosophy. It is a customer-focused approach to creating an optimal customer experience. The goal of Moreki Pele is to ensure that customers are always put first and that their needs and expectations are met. This means providing excellent customer service, understanding customer needs and expectations, and delivering a high-quality product and experience. In a retail environment, this could include providing helpful and knowledgeable staff, offering a wide selection of products, setting competitive prices, and providing an enjoyable shopping experience. Additionally, it could involve offering discounts, special promotions, and loyalty programs to reward customers for their business. Finally, Moreki Pele requires that all customer complaints and inquiries are addressed promptly and efficiently. The goal is to ensure that all customers are satisfied and that they feel valued and respected. Here are the 10 principles of Moreki Pele:1. Respect: Respect the customer’s time and preferences by providing quality customer service that is friendly and courteous.2. Empathy: Make an effort to understand the customer’s needs, wants, and concerns in order to provide the best possible customer experience.3. Transparency: Provide customers with clear information about products and services, as well as the terms and conditions of their purchase.4. Choice:5. Flexibility: Be open to customer feedback and requests for changes or modifications to the products and services on offer.6. Accountability: Take responsibility for any mistakes or problems that may arise during the customer’s experience and ensure that they are addressed promptly and fairly.7. Listening: Listen to customer feedback, both positive and negative, in order to continuously improve the quality of customer service.8. Feedback: Provide customers with regular feedback on their experience, in order to ensure that they are satisfied with the service they receive.9. Innovation: Continuously innovate and improve products and services in order to stay competitive and meet customer needs.10. Quality: Provide customers with products and services of the highest quality in order to ensure satisfaction.

The cashiers are careless and don't pay attention to customers. They chat to other employees while you are trying to pay and leave. I'm very disappointed. Today the cashier badly packed my groceries.
