Joined tabs in on Saturday afternoon as visitors from Parkhill Bowling Club in Durban. Made to feel very welcome and enjoyed the bowls despite being soundly beaten by Helen,s team. Greens in good condition.

A fine green well kept by the friendly local people of Southbroom. Tabs-in social bowls is placed on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday afternoon. Bowls usually ends at 5pm but can get a cold beer, wine or a spirit to finish the game offVisitors who are members at another club usually pay R20 per game. Non members pay R50. Scholars are free.Club has excellent coaches and coaching comes free as most new bowlers need a good few lessons before going on the green.A game for young and old so give it a go.
