Sasol Somerset West

A huge shout out to Ntseka who refuelled us this morning. What a beautiful ray of light. Warm, friendly, and such personality. It was a pleasure to be served by him. You really have a gem there.

Good evening. On visiting your fascility tonight 25/02/22, I was ahead of a driver in a yellow Picanto, Myself driving a blue Yaris. You can check on your cctv. He came in behind me and sped past me to an empty pump. Consequently he got to get helped first. Upon explaining that it was an emergency and we had to be at the hospital asap, the attented to start serving him first. Whe had to leave with a tank flickering and was to late to see my mother alive. She has passed on just a minute before we got there.

Slow pump and attendant did not notice the petrol started overflowing everywhere as he was chatting away with the others and not looking at it. Lied about it with the others also trying to cover it up. Was completely out of sight with his tip when I went to call the manager. Will not be back.

So I was visiting Sasol service station on Sunday 14th November 2021 to refuel my vehicle with diesel. I asked the fuel attendant to refuel with diesel and went into the shop to get some refreshments. Upon my arrival at my vehicle I found attendant busy cleaning my vehicle windscreen and ask me if it was petrol that he should have thrown in, I said no and told him that I asked for diesel, he then said that he accidentally filled it with petrol and not diesel and was quite apologetic about the incident. I then went back into shop to report it to the manager (Brendon) who immediately assisted me and also informed the owner Mrs. Carin Swannepoel. I must say from the minute the incident was reported up until the end, it was handled in an excellent professional manner. A vehicle was hired for me, the service station owner Mrs Swannepoel drove out to the car rental company to personally ensure that I was taken care of with a rental vehicle while without a vehicle. On Monday being today, my vehicle was repaired and back on the road. I am truly grateful to people like the Owner of Sasol Somerset West, her Management and staff. Once again a big thank you!!!!

Dear Sasol Somerset westI really enjoy going to your site as I always get friendly and speedy service but honestly I am looking at alternative fuel stations as those pumps take forever to fill a tank with petrol and as the saying goes time = money.My car's tank was half this morning when I decided to pop in and fill up on my way to work to avoid the mad Rush on Tuesday before the next price increase ,,and it took more than 10 minutes to fill my half tank..might even be 15 min. The service from the petrol attendant however was brilliant as he profusely apologised for it taking so long, cleaned my windscreen , checked my tyres and everything whilst waiting for the pump . I don't even want to think of how many cars will turn away tomorrow as the rows will just be to long at the speed the pumps work... sales will definitely be lost.

What the worst experience. I was there 15 Jan 2022 at 10am. And there are 3 cars after me but they help them 1stThen i ask whats going on and the attendant says i said i was good. Worst ever

Only one attendant on duty on more than one occasion . 3 cars left while we were waiting. Am sure the owner can view it on his camera footage. Can you only have two persons ona shift?
