What an amazing hidden gem!With out a doubt in my mind, this is the best place we have ever been to.This place is a must see, if you love animals!Was looking for a great day out and the guided tour gave so much more than what was on offer.Extremly friendly, clean, helpful, and caring staff.They took the time to not just show us the animals, but also to make each encounter special for us, and above all for our little one as well.

Staying at Kolkol we heard the lions whilst braaing and spending time in the hot tub. The kids were fascinated with the roaring of the lions that we just had to go and investigate. So glad we did. What an absolute gem. From the moment we were greeted by Columbia the Zebra, to our tour guide and his wife making us feel so at home to the time we left we felt so blessed to be able to experience this.It truly made our day, seeing the young ones with such big smiles makes it all the worthwhile.

We had such a great visit and stay at Cornellskop - Shané and the team really made my wife and our two young daughters feel like part of the family. The house we stayed in (Nguni) was gorgeous - so comfortable and felt like we were the first guests to stay. Everyone went out of their way to ensure we were as comfortable as could be (even helping us build and light our Brai). As my three year old enjoyed her outdoor bath we could see a lion looking down and roaring it’s evening roar, which we’ll never forget. All of the animals are clearly so happy and well looked after.It was the highlight of our trip to South Africa and I can’t recommend Cornellskop enough!

Amazing and peaceful. The sounds of nature and the animals to soothe you as you fall asleep.There is intermittent cell reception here so it's a great opportunity for family bonding over board games.Having a 4x4 is advantageous as the dirt road getting there can be abit bumpy.All in all it was a great experience and lovely stay.

Truly amazing!!I don’t say this too often but we had a truly once in a blue moon experience at Cornellskop.The staff are super knowledgeable (thanks @Erin) and the animals are clearly very well taken care of - the staff clearly care very deeply.I’ve never been so close to a Cheetah, a Lion or a Hyena and it didn’t feel intrusive as sometimes it does in the wild.Can’t recommend it enough.

Great place to go a learn some facts about the animals that they take care of daily. Being able to interact with them and being right next to the animal makes it the real deal. If anything it is also great idea to stay in the cottages there to hear the lions calling out and hearing nature instead of cars. Peaceful and super relaxing time with family.

Amazing place, good experience, I recommend for everyone. Very kind owner.
