Stanley Island

We had an amazing stay. The team is so friendly and it we were more than happy to stay at this beautiful place. I can really recommend it.

Oh my days this place is outstanding..I only wish we could of stayed longer. The service was exceptional. The ferry was on hand when you requested. The rooms were exceptionally clean an the view in the morning with the zebras was out of this world..thank you so much Stanley island

The self-catering lodge is perfect for family travelers. We were able to prepare our own meals and enjoy a braai as the accommodation is well equipped. Our children enjoyed seeing the zebras every morning as they grazed outside our lodge.Celestine was the star of the show - very helpful and made sure our stay was pleasant.Thank you Stanley Island!

Unfortunately we arrived late in the evening and left early in the morning. Plettenberg Bay was just a very quick stop for us. But the island ist SO pretty! The hotel itself is beautiful too, the staff is absolutely adorable. Next time we're in the area we will stay for a lot longer to enjoy the nature and wildlife on the island, I would have loved to see the zebras. The room we stayed in wasn't very quiet though, we could clearly hear our neighbors talking, and getting the right water temperature in the shower was a huge bit of an act.

Stanley Island is a little piece of paradise. It gives a special feeling taking the ferry to your destination. Furthermore the staff is very friendly and replies fast to any enquiry you might have. The zebras visiting your terrace are also a big plus.When we were visiting, the restaurant and bar were not operational and we had no curtains infront of the door window. That's the only reason not to give 5 stars.Highly recommended!

Amazing stay! Note that the hotel is on an island and you can't bring your car - the staff offers boat crossing between the parking and the hotel. From the parking you are very close to the center of town. The room was really well curated and stylish and overall it looks like there has been put a lot of thought into the place. All staff we dealt with was friendly and professional, especially Jack! Can def recommend the place !

Amazing stay, dream location made a dream experience by Celestine. The residences are wonderful and beautifully designed, waking up with zebra’s at the front door.

This is a beautiful spot but could be so much more especially if they tidied the place up a bit and got rid of all the trash on the island, by this I mean the mountain of building rubble towards the end of the runway as well as the mountain of black bags of refuse we drove past on the island and at the untidiness at the backmof the beach bar which guests see every time they walk to their room.Rooms are lovely but in room 3 bedside lamp was not plugged in and some lights night working and several glo es need replacing, bathroom basin tap in room 2 was completely loose, backup for WiFi in room 3 beeps continuously when there is loadshedding and vanity in bathroom has been poorly made.New restaurant on island is beautiful but expensive, R200 for mushroom gnocchi!Celestine is the star of the island.
