Delightful camping next to Breede River with pleasant swimming options. Good ablutions blocks that are well maintained and regularly cleaned. Hot water for washing up area would be a small improvement

This is an off-the-track jewel. About 13km off the N2 ( just before Swellendam) set on the Breede River. Very well taken care of campsite.

Wonderful, reasonable family camping spot. Farmer and family very friendly and will supply you with wood and ice throughout the day. Take along floating devices to play and float down the river during the day. You can fish and hike along the river. Showers and toilets reasonably clean, hot water - just be aware of lots of rain spiders. Dont forget your mosquito repellent. We stayed in Lapa which is a 3 berth caravan with a stoep and kitchen area built around it - really rustic and beautiful -well worth the experience.

Such a nice secluded camping site... No reception, so it was such a lovely break! Really enjoyed it very much and can definitely recommend it!

Desolate camping site along the river bed, hiking, swimming and kayaking possibilities, very helpful and friendly owner, and last but not least cheap!!. All in all one of the nicest and most beautiful camping places I've been to in SA.

On a 3 week road trip around the western and eastern cape, it was the best cape site we discovered. Very nice located on the river, were you can swim or paddle around. Friendly host, clean facilities. Just top!

We camped here two nights and loved being right on the river and under the trees. The river is great for swimming, canoeing, etc. No electricity points and cellphone reception only when walking up the road halfway up the hill, which is good exercise and gives lovely views of the river, hills and mountains. Definitely a 'geta-away-from- it-all' spot to rest and be close to nature. It's a working farm, but down at the camping site, none of this is noticeable. The hosts are extremely helpful. We would have loved to stay longer.

Rustic. Plenty of trees and grass. Bring your own drinking water. Well laid out. No electricity. Pet friendly and off the beaten track. 2nd visit very enjoyable. Will definitely go again. Very quiet mid week.

There is no drinking water or power so come prepared, but we had a fabulous time, ablusions cleaned 2x daily. The best river for kids and pets.
