Did not have the best experience on Mothersday. With booking we were not told we can bring own drinks and I was surprised when waitress told me. It was not wheelchair friendly and we could not get into the front door or to the table without disrupting the other guests. We were not greeted at the door to show us to our seats or tell us how it works, had to look for someone to assist us. Only 2 waitresses and one of them kept forgetting to bring whatever we asked, had to the ask 2nd waitress again. Bill receipt total was inaccurate and overstated by R1000. The texture of the silverside was very strange. It looks like steak but feels like mince in your mouth, my brain was confused. The sauce also did not lend itself to any taste. There was no gravy for the rice, no custard for the malva and the milktart was not seen. The chocolate mousse was the highlight of the day! My mom used some for her malva pudding, when no custard arrived after asking twice. The flowers and chocolate gifts are appreciated, but unfortunately they did not change our experience of the food and service. Sorry, I was expecting a bit more than what we got. This one is just not for me.I give this review, not because it gives me any pleasure, but because I hope the restaurant will take note and hopefully see it as constructive. I could have said nothing, but then you won't know why some customers perhaps do not return.

Hunting for a venue that caters for buffet (within one's budget) I was pleasantly surprised when discovering this venue. Homely, welcoming,warm & inviting.... Like they say in afrikaans, Lekker huiskos....
