Terribly slow service

The Items we bought was torn on the first try. The stitches teared open for both the trousers and the other item. The trousers alone were R600 , and teared right on the stitches in the event I was attending. The embarrassment and having to find something to cover up were stitches opened was enough to drive me to the grave.

Was profiled by their security guard that they must watch the Daniel Hechter item that I had with me. Confronted her and asked for her name on the way out after paying for item to lay a formal complaint. Nobody was helpful. Finally got a name after the security woman grabbed my phone so I can report her. Doubt much will happen. Truworths your clothes aren't cheap therefore when we enter your stores we expect only thee best service and quality and not to be abused.

Friendly staff. Nice variety. Got what I wanted and didn't wait long to pay. Very nice store.

Its okay, clean and professional

Absolutely pathetic and disgusting staff! Was buying sale items took three same items from the sale rack only to be told it’s not on sale and a customer put three of the exact same shirts there by the manager. Asked the manager for proof since she’s so confident in blaming the customer she said she had proof and then thereafter proceeded to say she didn’t have proof! Felt like I was being gas lighted so asked to speak to the store manager who was rude and gas lighted me even more into telling me that it’s my fault and the only thing they could do was to apologize. The guy in charge of the sale rack mistakenly placed those items there and tried to make me look like a liar that I got them from the rack. I then proceeded to pull more shirts out from the sale that’s exactly the same from the sale rack but not on sale. Was also threatened by the useless sales boy. Store manager was rude and disrespectful and no help at all and tried to make me look delusional. I will never shop there again and something needs to be done. Walked out because I couldn’t keep one talking to dumb staff! Truworths please hire competent people so customers don’t get blamed and suffer your staffs stupidity.

Manager is unfriendly and lacks customer service skills.

Tried to exchange a pair of pants from the Finnigan's range only to find the last available size didn't look right, it looked used, double linning and it had a shine made from an iron compared to the others, so I decided to get a refund and was told their tills don't have any moneys, this is the second time it has happened. customer service at truworths sucks, very disappointing. This will be my last at their stores.

Surprise, surprise. Why would my visit today be different than any other day! Do you only cater for size 44???
