Terrible experience! This specific gym/ branch deceives students with hidden subscription and cancellation fees that are never discussed upfront. 0 cooperation, dishonesty and a major lack of transparency. Strongly advise against joining this gym.

The gym is constantly being cleaned and maintained. Lindiwe goes out of her way to greet people and Nathan at reception is very interactive and caring. John aka Rasta always makes a point to smile at all members and fist bump those close to him and wish them well for their session. Jerry is a personable and professional personal trainer who assists anyone in need. Awesome facilities. One star lost because Head Office must PLEASE UPDATE THE PLAYLIST!!! The music needs a big reboot.

Whilst planet fitness offers a good gym experience and pleasant ambiance, friendly staff and modern facilities, the only gripe i have is that the gym should close at 7pm on Saturdays instead of 6pm. Most people, myself included, have only the weekend to work out, and with Saturday being a working day, i get home at close to 5pm. Even the malls close at 6pm, and one could still get in a workout if the gym closed at 7pm like Virgin Active does. Why can Planet Fitness not close at 7pm on a Saturday?Not criticising or hating, just a friendly request/enquiry?

Money keeps getting wrongfully taken out of my account ( usually a mistake from one of the employees) , and when I go back to sort the issue I can't get the money immediately or I don't even get a full amount back, even if it is the employee that made the mistake in the 1st place. This has been the 3rd time.

This gym is State Of The Art if I compare it to any other gym in South Africa! They have absolutely exceeded every expectation. Well done. The list is too long to mention.
