Great concept, great idea, but they are really going to have to change their company's ethos. I stayed in one of their buildings and experienced (probably) the worst service delivery I have ever received. From staff saying what am I supposed to do about it?" to them not meeting the very basic terms of their own contract."

STAY AWAY WITH A TEN FOOT BARGE POLE! My father in law is busy having his modular home built with House Zero. Not only is there an insane turn around with unhappy staff ( they are on their 4th person now) but the project is delayed nearing 6 months and there is no communication nor accountability. What I find highly unethical is they continue to advertise for new work and new projects when they have such unhappy existing clients with unfinished homes.

From Hero to Zero....I can definitely not recommend this company!This company is busy constructing a House Zero for us.The promise ,and undertaking by them to construct this modular house in 8 weeks (56 days) has turned into disappointment and frustration.After 115 days of construction the structure and roof is not even complete According to their latest( and 4 th) completion date,the house will take another 61 days to complete.This means a total of 176 days for construction...This is much more time, than an average brick and mortar house of the same size would take.Stay away,and hold on to your money!

Great concept in sustainable living. Would maybe need some adaptations for colder windy climates where heat loss may be an issue ( just an uneducated opinion)

So I signed up to be a HouseZero construction partner, and after a nightmare year of trying to make it work, it seems that both my thousands of hours plus my hundreds of thousands of rands I invested are all down the drain, so no, I will definitely not recommend this company. I'd love to hear from anyone living in a completed HouseZero who has a positive review of the service or product.
