I bought a pair of shoes that didn’t work out as well as I’d hoped and the team at run sorted me out with a new pair based on gait assessment and personal attention. Shocking experience with their online store - their stock differs from the shoes depicted on their website. I had to cancel two orders in the space of a week (no stock of the 1st pair of shoes and an incorrect delivery of the other pair) and now have to wait on the refunds! My advice - there are plenty of organised, well-priced and good running-stores around (with integrity) - steer-clear of 'Run Specialist Store' and their online store.

When I made my online purchase the response was immediate and 5 days later I had my tekkies in my hand. Very impressive. But I sent a complaint about the one tekkie that was broken and have followed up twice because no one replies. So after you have my money, you don't care about after-sale service?I bought a New Balance of over R1k, worth over R2k. One expects a certain level of quality associated with the brand and with the price tag.

Staff provide expert advice! They stock a wide range of road and trail shoes. Competitive prices! They have a treadmill instore to try out shoes. They also stock other products like running backpacks, some clothing items, etc. Strongly recommend that you pop in to one of the run stores.
