AVOID THIS COMPANY...I have purchased many back power up items from Sinetech and the sales service seems to be fine.However... In January 2023 one of my units failed and I took it to Sinetech for repairs. I have had to follow up weekly with no feedback from anyone in their business. I have been told constant stories about why the unit has still not been looked at or fixed and it is now March 2023.I then called to speak to one of the managers and spoke to Ray who promised to get back to me. I have not heard back and when I call to speak to him he is no longer available.They will not provide me with any details or contacts of a director or owner.I have asked them to just refund me for the unit but no response received.Please do not purchase from this business, their after sales support is non existent and when you need them most they do not assist or care for their customers.

I've just spent half a million Rand on an office and a home solar system with Sinetech. Both installations have been nothing short of a nightmare from beginning to end - a saga that has still not come to a close on my residential installation despite escalating the various issues to Rick Rovelli, their holding company's CEO, who promised me it was going to improve.The issues are just far too numerous to mention here, all I can say is that I have dealt with multiple sales staff, multiple technicians, multiple electricians under their banner over the past 8 months and the problem of shocking service, broken promises and in the latest case, faulty hardware that has not been fixed or replaced, appears to be institutional. I understand that load shedding has created a lot of demand and pressure on companies like this, but they have simply not adapted to the situation to address these problems.I could not recommend Sinetech any less. I'm posting this review to help other people in a similar situation, being forced to look at alternative energy supply under duress, to avoid the carnage that is this company and the draining experience of trying to beg them for service and results.Please also be advised that Sinetech is part of Probe Group so both should be avoided.

Had a great experience purchasing a product. While there, a system error caused a double payment. It's now been more than 2 weeks and every time you call them, they say tomorrow....but that seems to never be true.

I contacted Sinetech by email and did not get the courtesy of a reply/acknowledgment. A few days later, I called and was told to email Ferdinand, which I did. To date (more than 2 weeks later) I am still waiting for a response. How do companies like this stay in business? Very poor service to say the least. I would not recommend Sinetech :-(

Had a great experience with Sinetech and will definitely use them again. I asked about when they were expecting stock of an item that was listed as backlog order and they responded quickly via email and even gave me an ETA. When I finally placed my order the product arrived in under 48 hours and it's great quality. I ordered a Ratel 8100 UPS and it was exactly what I needed to run my 19v Asus router during load-shedding.

Got the Eishbox, the first one blew from plugging in a light, got it replaced (just over 10 months old), now the second one can't power a laptop and a 21 monitor for more than 30 mins without over heating (the fans no longer work to cool it down). If you plug in more than 1 device into the box

Very disappointed and would not recommend. Please do your research and try and find a positive review for their products before you spend your hard earned money here.On their recommendation, we bought a 180Ah Omnipower battery and a 600W pure sine wave TBB charger/inverter combo for driving our two laptops, screens and internet during load shedding. The battery only 18 months and provided 10% (<100 cycles) of the performance stated in their amazing" datasheets.Getting clear information out of the company with regards to testing and cause of premature failure seems impossible. We paid them R400 to get the setup tested and got a nonsense "test report" - a one liner handwritten scribble.The certification for the quality of the batteries was done in China (CQM)

I have been contacting your offices everyday since last week the 17th of April. Till the 25th of April. And no exaggeration here. I call almost 3 times daily. And it's the same thing everyday.I have been transferred from pillar to post.Left enquiries, messages at reception and no feedback or call back.Keep being transferred to a salesman or Sales Manager Cameron. No answer. Then no call back.I ask reception to go to someone to answer the call. Nothing no answer call just gets droppedThis is so unprofessional.How do you expect clients to use your service if you can't even answer or return a call for a sales quote.
