Residence Vive La Vie

After a warm welcome with a glass of Champagne, we were transferred by the manager to our room, which is exact as in the picture, what a beautiful room. beautiful local art really great. The bed is super comfortable nicely made. while showering you can use local shampoo and bodywash, it smells really delicious. After our first night we were surprised with a great breakfast that is served at the table. The manager Peter comes to ask how your first night has been and if he can organize something for you a restaurant or something similar. Residence Vive La Vie is everything you seek personal attention, comfortable luxury rooms really recommended with 5 stars.

What a great stay at this small guest house ! We had an amazing time while talking to the owners, chilling in the pool, had the BEST breakfast ever in travel history. The staff is super friendly, helpful and amazing. We will definitely come back

What a wonderful stay!! Peter and his staff are so amazing, friendly and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble and the service is outstanding. The accommodation is beautiful and we have stayed in many places in Franschhoek but we have found our forever home from home now. We can’t wait to go back.

My stay at Residence Vive La Vie was a memorable one, mostly because of the attention to details and thoughtful service that are provided by its small group of excellent caretakers. Managed by Peter, hotel manager extraordinaire if ever there was one, the crew carried out its duties with as much attention as needed. The living space and the bathroom of my bungalow were large and comfortable. The garden in the middle of the property had a small pool, should you want to take a dip after a tour of the city. Breakfast was made to order, varied and delicious. The location was a short 10-minute walk from the center.

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful guest house. Wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms were tastefully decorated and very clean. The breakfast was amazing and the hostess was just so lovely. A very warm and inviting place, and I will definitely book again.

Warm welcome, beautiful room, beautiful setting from main house onto the valley of Franschoek. Annelize and Peter are so friendly, assist where possible, nothing is too much for them. Fabulous breakfast evety morning made fresh. Neat and clean guest house.

The room as well as the atmosphere is magic. In general I can't sleep in hotel... But here I had one of the best sleeps of the journey. People were super nice, breakfast was large and of quality.

“Paradise in wine country”. Extremely friendly staff - with attention to detail. The rooms were immaculate. Loved my stay will definitely be back! We were welcome with a glass of sparkling wine and showed to our room, we stayed in room 4 overlooking the pool. Will recomend Residence Vive La Vie to all traveling to Franschhoek.

Lovely place, cozy rooms with plush comfy robes. But the best part was the breakfast, really delicious and fresh!Also just down the road from Grand, a perfect place to watch the sunset and enjoy a drink.
