Boulders Beach
Ok. Very busy. Pretty small beach. 2 penguins only. I think we went on a bad day! Very beautiful though.

Amazing place. Absolutely worthwhile to be visited. Do get to close to the penguins, othrrwise they try to bite.

Boulders Beach
One of the most scenic beaches I've ever visited due to the ginormous eponymous boulders. Plus, the penguins zipping through the crystal blue waters doesn't hurt. I visited as part of a tour, but I'd recommend spending more time here by renting a car or taking the train. It is a small beach, so keep 'stuff' to a minimum.

once you find the secret passage through the boulders you’ll find a plethora of penguins! ☺️

We bought ticket at the spot. Plenty of parking space and very nice security guard at the car park.We recommend to go to visit the penguin first then use the same ticket to go to the beach. If the penguin likes you, they will probably swim with you.It is not a big beach but you can swim with the penguin. What else you need?

An even more incredible encounter with penguins like across from the other end of the beach. Here within a more forest-like walk, with many penguins and other animals at arms length distance. It’s possible to swim here as well, alongside some brave penguins eventually.

Hands down one of the best places I’ve ever been to. I loved the penguins and the scenery was beautiful, would definitely recommend if you haven’t been before.

You can really up close to penguin colony . Right time of year you can see young penguins and maybe even whales in the bay .

Boulders Beach is beautiful as are so many of the beaches on the peninsula. We went, as most people do, to see the endangered African penguin’s colony. On a later portion of our trip we went on a marine safari to Dyers Island where they claim penguins live but there were very few there. This is the best place to see them. As you walk along the boardwalk, they were nested just on the other side of the fence. There are many ways to see the penguins without paying.
