Triple super deluxe!!Absolutely great! Felt like my endearing childhood with family and being loved.Food was top of the range.Spontaneous and feeling at home staff. Highly recommended.

A must visit for anyone looking for authentic SA farm cuisine. Visiting from abroad, the food and atmosphere were exactly what we miss from South Africa. The hosts were very welcoming and we had a great conversation with the owner before being served lamb bredie and lamb shanks which were excellent quality. Not to mention the 12+ side dishes we received between 2 diners.

I am in two minds because I would love to give an overall 5 star rating.Although the breakfast was really good and I would like to go back for the lunch buffet, they are (or were) not geared for the number of customers that the restaurant can accomodate, and as a result service was horrible.I do take my hat of to the two young servers who tried their best.Also, if you are out of stock on a menu item, inform patrons upfront.The moerkoffie is heavenly lekker. The Vrystraat breakfast's pap & relish is amazing, and whatever they base the wors with, is out of this world.

Beste boerekos in die kontrei. The wonderful smell that greets you at the door, will take away any thought of leaving before having a meal. It was so good, we had to come back the next day for the buffet lunch.

Don't let the rather plain exterior put you off visiting this establishment. For genuine, old fashioned Boerekos at a reasonable price this is the place. We had the two smallest breakfasts on the menu and could barely finish them, the scrambled eggs were divine, the best I've had anywhere. Their other meals and Sunday lunches look great so we're going to have to go back!

It was another great experience. Food was really good and large portions. The curry pot was magnificent and filling. The breakfast was good with the eggs just as I like it. Before your meal you are treated to a home baked bread with delicious jams which is included in all meals.Definitely worth the visit.

True farmhouse hospitality and food. The prices a cheap and the portions are huge. Definitely worth a visit. Their Sunday lunch buffets are legendary. Has real farm food meals like pap en wors etc.

Wow! Food is rediculously good and a lot! Bread is melt in your mouth fresh. Great place to stop and have a good meal.
