AEG

Bought a fridge last year, the fridge door got damaged by myself, I paid to get it fixed. The door was replaced but it was replaced with a door which does not match the original freezer door, it's a different colour and the water dispenser is leaking. Long story short, your national service operations manager Wietz van Lelyveld just told me it's not their problem even after the technician came and wrote a report confirming the doors are different. Will never buy an AEG product again. Definitely won't recommend.

Absolutely shocking service. My fridge hasn’t been working for a month and no1 from AEG seems to care. I’ve had 2 technicians come out and then haven’t heard back from them. It’s ridiculous

I am so disappointed in the service from AEG/Electrolux.. My dishwasher broke three months before the warranty was up - that was in August 2020. Hundreds of phone calls later, I am so sick of the rubbish they talk, no straight answers, very disappointed. On principle, I will not jsut dump this piece of AEG rubbish - it needs to be fixed or replaced as per the warranty agreement. Then I will dump it.

Trying to get expensive AEG freezer fixed. Called 6 times no assistance. Cant get through. Get put through to answering service etc. BAD start. Should be able to answer a phone and speak to some form of intelligent life!

Do not buy AEG products. Been struggling to get parts for my power tools. The service centre is pathetic and never return calls. Try alternate brands!!!

Poor service, the parts you can see with your naked eye is not correct on a electric steam cooker, they asked me to sent the lid and they will fit the seals. Took it in and then was told that they are not allowed to do that. The company do not do any refunds so never buy from them you are going to loose your money. I spoke to Tshepo that asked me to bring the lid in. Poor Poor service

I purchase a 90cm stainless steel gas/electric oven from Makro Woodmead. The product arrived to my house searched, missing a part, and the oven didn't work properly. After two months of calls, emails, social posts begging and pleading for assistance from AEG, I was offered no assistance with or any success at addressing the issue. In month three of not being able to use my oven, the really nice people at Makro decided to swap it out. Nine months later, and guess what? The oven switch is broken, AEG advised me they don't carry part's and it will take two to three months to get me the part, if I'm lucky. Really poor customer and after sales service. Don't buy AEG, as they say you can always rely on Defy!

DON'T BUY AEG APPLIANCESVery disappointed in the quality of their dishwashers.Bought a dishwasher on 23 December 2020, ran one cycle and then it broke.Had a technician out for a repair in January 2021, it has been a month now since I bought it and its still broken. No spares for a brand new product. Will never buy an AEG product again.

DO NOT BUY! Product worked fine for a while, but absolutely ZERO support from local distributers. Won't respond to emails, won't answer calls. AVOID!
