This natural tidal pool is beautiful at low spring tide with crystal clear water. Snorkelling provides a view to the abundant underwater life, but the water can be cold so a wetsuit is advisable

A very nice and quieter/more private beach setting, nestled by rocky outcroppings past Nahoon Beach (within walking distance). Nahoon beach and Maiden's Pool are connected by a boardwalk. It is a good combination of rock pool/very small bay and beach/sea swimming experience, especially for smaller children and enjoyable by snorkelers. Not ideal for surfers due to presence of rocks. Has its own parking lot and access. Getting up and down to the boardwalk access from Maidens can be taxing, especially for the injured, elderly and small, due to some climbing and assistance required.

A beautiful site which is unfortunately poorly maintained. The polutions in the area made the visit disappointing. Plastic bottles and bags are found all over the scene. Respect nature and think about the future generations please.
